Great pizza and wings! The best part was the amazing customer service. I've never had any business go back to their restaurant and make a new batch of wings because they forgot ONE wing in my order. Outstanding!

Straight Up Good. Consistently get a really good pizza. The crust has the right amount of chewiness but also some crunch. The sauce has good flavor. I always get an extra side of sauce to dip the crust in. Toppings are tasty and plentiful. I especially love the sprinkling of oregano. Make mine pepperoni and onion please!
Best in Town. I've lived in albuquerque my whole life, explored every pizza joint in town and had the best. I worked at a fairly popular pizza place for about a year, during which i told customers to go to SU instead, and few places compare to Straight Up. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, the place is kept clean, and the food is phenomenal. I also like that its run by veterans and they have a wall upon which you can honor a veteran you know. Had the ten inch personal. Green chilie and peperoni. it was delicious. Crispy crust and the green chilie was very flavorful! Ill definitely be back.
Quick, clean, and friendly. I've had the Chupacabra and Devil Dog calzones. Both were outstanding. I've also had the cannoli. Pretty darn good though I'm fairly ignorant when it comes to cannoli. The prices are fair and they don't charge for delivery.

So good. We love pizza, we love different pizza, pizza with different toppings, unique flavors. We are always in search of a great new pizza to try. The pizza here was one of those wow experiences. We tried the devil dog. It is one of the best pizzas I have ever tried. The flavors are unique, it will satisy the salty, sweet, crunchy, and spicy all in one bite. Garlic, pepperoni, green chili, crunchy bacon, and sweet pineapple. This is just amazing pizza. Looking forward to our next visit.
Have been back several times, tried the chupacabra pizza and it was amazing! Spicy with enough heat and yummy meatballs.
Wonderful southwest pizza. Excellent balance of crust and delicious fresh toppings. The green chile is flavorful with heat that doesn't overpower the pallete, plus there are many dishes for those that aren't chili addicts. Best pizza I've ever tasted, bar none. Pleasant restaurant, superb service. Well worth the "straight up" price.

Help Wanted: a Womans Touch. Was in the mood for a Pizza and a Drive yesterday so Straight Up Pizza was the obvious choice as we'd yet to go there and its on the opposite side of town from us. Upon entering I was immediately struck by how sterile and cafeteria like the interior of this place is. Excluding the various cheap nylon military flags against one wall this place has no character at all. The tan walls are crying out for some kind of help. Its obvious that the owners are men and that the place was decorated my men. They might consider bringing in some outside help to make it more inviting.
Anyhow; the food. We ordered a Medium Pie with Ham, Pineapple and Green Chile. It came out after about 10 minutes and looked delicious. Plenty of everything, they certainly do not scrimp out on the toppings. The Green Chile was SPICY, another plus. The crust was good but not fantastic, though certainly a step above most other places in town. I liked it more than my wife did. The weakest part of the Pizza was easily the Sauce. For me this is what stopped it from being in the "Damn Good" category, rather than the "Pretty Good" one, where I eventually placed it. Its obvious that the sauce is the ultra cheap, from the giant can variety. If they upgraded even one level it would have a significant impact on the final product.
So, overall I liked my Pizza from Straight Up. Theyre on the cusp of having something special if theyre willing to spend a little more money on higher quality ingredients, but they certainly know how to put a nice pie together, and thats not a bad place to be starting from.

Locally owned and food made with fresh, flavorful ingredients. It is definitely a unique style of pizza but it is truly the best pizza in town. We have been coming here for a couple of years now and have never been let down. We usually get the spicy marinara with either pepperoni or sausage and fresh basil. The chupacabra is also a good choice. Also, we always get an order of chipotle wings-the wings are high quality and delicious. The awesome service is just the cherry on top. I hope this place is always around!
Update: We’ve been customers for years and this place is still amazing. Just had another delicious experience. If you’re thinking about ordering from here definitely do it!

Straight up pizza was delicious.
So, straight up pizza is takeout or delivery only. I didn't know that in advance, so I showed up in front of the restaurant trying to get in and get a table. It took a few minutes for my wife and I to realize what the situation was and to decide to just order out on the spot. As a result, we ended up standing around in front of the restaurant for a while which, I think, made the people inside a little bit nervous. So, don't do that.
We read the menu posted in the window and made some on-the-spot decisions. We rang them up on our cell phones and were able to place the order with no trouble. The folks were very nice and extremely helpful. Ordering was a great experience. It was super easy and the people at straight up pizza where helpful, polite, and expedient.
At least once, somebody came to pick up a pizza while we were still trying to decide what to order. Every time they opened the pick-up window, an amazing savory delightful aroma came floating out of the restaurant. It was awesome.
It was done in short order and they brought it out to our car, which was very nice of them.
We had buffalo chicken wings, a 14-inch carnivore Pizza, and a couple of cannolis. Everybody was a treat. Take a look at the photos I posted. The pizza was cooked perfectly, the chicken wings were crispy and seasoned just right, and the cannolis were creamy and crunchy, just as they should be. The food was just great.
Five stars to straight up pizza, I'll definitely be back.

What a lovely night this turned out to be. Sitting at home on a cold, cozy night. I decided to order some takeout. I have never had straight up, and now I will never want another pizza again. This was the most delicious Margherita Pizza, Chicken Wings, Salad, and Chocolate Cannoli I have ever had!!!!
My only regret is that I only bought one Cannoli. I'm so sorry to keep going on and on but my goodness that was the most delicious cannoli! 😋🤤

We are visiting for Balloon Fiesta 2019 and loved this place. After a long day at the fiesta wr ordered pizzas through uber eats and there was an issue where this pizzas were picked up but never delivered to us. Randy (the manager, I believe) called to let us know and remade the whole order and had uber eats take care of the cost. They went out of their way to make things right and on top of that the pizza was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend.
