Laguna Burger

I really enjoyed my first Laguna burger. My suggestion would be to have hot green Chile as an option instead of just mild. Also make sure the place is clean at all times as well it gives a bad first impression. Overall I enjoyed it and I would definitely get it again. The rest of the menu looks worth trying as well. I enjoyed every bite.

Laguna Burger's Green Chili variant has set a new standard for burger excellence. From the moment I took the first bite, the flavors were nothing short of extraordinary. The succulent beef patty perfectly complemented the mild heat and rich taste of the green chili. Every ingredient, from the fresh toppings to the melt-in-your-mouth cheese, contributed to a burger experience that was simply outstanding. Laguna Burger has truly mastered the art of crafting a burger that transcends expectations, making it the best I have ever had.

So, it gets 5 stars for what it is. A burger place with an idea of another. The original Laguna Burger (in Laguna off I40) is not to be compared to this place. The flavor is different. The original still beats these repeats. Don't come here if you're used to the og. Come with an unbiased mind instead. But focusing on this place, the food is good, service is usually good, atmosphere is alright (bathrooms look like a gas station, which threw me off since the restaurant has a nicer look), and the prices rise as much as all the other typical food places. $15-20 a person, easily. Chile isn't the best tasting (couldn't really taste the Chile at all this time), so if you're a tourist, I wouldn't judge NM Chile off of this place. Other than that, the food is tasty.

The food at Laguna Burger is always yummy! However, the night we went, two people in our party had their orders switched. One person ordered the wimpy burger with chile on the side, and the other ordered the full-size burger with no tomatoes or cheese. The specifics were served, as requested, but on the opposite-sized burgers. When it was brought to the attention of the server, she kind of blew it off. Only when pushed, did she finally agree to adjust our individual checks. No apology, no offer to make us a new burger, nothing. Kinda disappointing, because the prices here are not cheap.

Burger was excelent- try the Laguna Burger, but be warned..... it's a big burger- at least a 1/2 pound patty. The seasoning was perfect, moist, and the Hatch chilis they use were delicious. The fries were also very, very good. They have a bar area with sports and TVs. Overall a nice place in Albuquerque.

I had the Laguna Wimp which is a 1/3 pound hamburger and that was perfect for me. Mike had the chicken sandwich; he was very happy with that and fries and that was perfect for him. They also have a nice bar selection for cocktails or draft beers. Mike enjoyed a Modelo with his lunch. Unfortunately they were out of their green chilli stew so we will definitely have to go back for that. If you’re in the area we highly recommend. Totally forgot to take pictures of our sandwiches LOL.

LAGUNA BURGER WAS ROBBED OF FIRST PLACE AT THE 2023 MAC ‘N CHEESE FESTIVAL! Now that we have that out of the way, this place is DELICIOUS. I can’t believe I waited so long to try this place! I am bummed they don’t actually sell their mac ‘n cheese at the restaurant. I loved the mushroom burger I got and the onion petals are a nice take on onion rings. It solves the problem of biting into an onion ring and the whole onion sliding out of the breading and then you’re forced to shove the whole thing in your mouth or eat mostly onion. Brilliant! This is such a big problem in my life 😅 I’m glad someone solved it. Seriously, don’t wait to eat here! Go now!
