Incredible customer service!! Walked in close to closing time. Both young ladies working were friendly, didn't mind I came in so late. The sandwich was hands down the best pastrami sandwich in Albuquerque. Keep up the great experience, will be back soon!!!
Food is excellent. Every time I go the people are friendly. Pastrami Burger is awesome, as is everything else I’ve tried (Jumbo breakfast burrito with pastrami, Classic, Carne Tacos). I go every chance I can. I’m a regular at the Montgomery location, but I’m happy to have the closer Gibson location.

California Pastrami on the west side of Albuquerque is awesome! The service is outstanding but the food is amazing! Our favorites are the fish tacos, carne asada tacos, and of course their pastrami sandwich... Huge portions and quality food. You will NOT be dissappointed!
California Pastrami is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always absolutely delicious, the friendly service is wonderful, the staff takes great care in serving the food as quickly as possible, the restaurants are always clean, accuracy is an important part, and the prices are very good!
The food is good and definitely different. They are not particularly fast, but the staff is courteous. Sometimes they do seem understaffed and I have seen the owner working the kitchen to help speed things up.
This restaurant truly aims to please! Not only is the food and service 5 stars, but they give regular customers free meals and emailed discounts all the time, I definitely recommend trying their carne Asada nachos, most authentic carne asada I have found in New Mexico!
I actually went to the Coors (Cottonwood) location (Google Pulled up Gibson). It was awesome! Great food and friendly staff. Nice clean restaurant. I will be returning.
I visited the Coors/Cottonwood location and the food was great. Staff was very nice and since I am disabled they brought my drink to my table. I will be back for lunch soon.
Totally the best pastrami sandwich in town Not to mention their gigantic double burger...Everyone is so friendly and nice..If you want a great place to eat in Albuquerque THIS IS IT!!
Fantastic Food! Fast, Friendly and Helpful Staff. Clean Environment. Seating is a bit cramped and chairs are not very comfortable, but that does not take away from the 5 Star Service & Quality of Food!
