Was one of the many final delivery orders from this amazing restaurant. The food is amazing and well priced. It is sad to see a hometown favorite and a local staple shutter their doors due to Covid19. Wish they would reconsider their decision to close.

I've eaten at this place with my friends and family for the past 4 years. It instantly became my favorite restaurant in all of Albuquerque. I'm deeply saddened to see it go. They have the best green chile chicken enchiladas in town. I won't ever forget the wonderful memories I share with those I have dinner with and the food we all bonded over.

So very sad to hear Ortega's will be closing for good. My family and I have been eating here since they opened, 30+ years ago! This was my Dad's favorite place to eat, he loved the lunch specials. The food is authentic, service excellent & no one can beat the Sopapillas! The stuffed Sopapillas are my favorite...all the dishes are yummy and you get more than enough food. Will miss talking with Rudy, the owner, always smiling and attentive. Will be ordering as much take out meals as we can before you all close! Good luck to everyone ☺️

I love Fijitas and I'm always looking for a good place. I didn't find a good place but a great place. They truly have the best Chicken ones I've ever tasted and for an even better price.
I recommend stopping in and trying them for yourself...you won't be disappointed.

Not a whole lot of parking, the waiter wasn’t exactly the friendliest and I think I was charged extra for using my check card. With that being said the food was amazing.

It was a really nice atmosphere in Ortega's. I was asked three x
Times if I was doing okay or if I needed anything and I felt a sense of homeage when The gentleman called me by my name after he ran my credit card. I will definitely go back. The GC chicken enchiladas were great and I even liked the rice and beans. Just the way I like everything.

The food was excellent! I had the Burrito Supreme with Carne Adovarda, and it was delicious! Plenty of food, and the wait staff was super friendly! Debra went out of her way to help, and had the kitchen prepare a breakfast burrito for my early morning flight the next day. I highly recommend!

The food was delicious . The service was great and prices where decent. You get a lot of food for your money and it tastes wonderful. I got a lunch combo, which they serve between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. the sweet tea is delicious as well as the stuffed jalapenos. They serve chips and salsa when u first get there. Definitely stop by and get some food. Our waitor Brian was great.

At first glance, we were a little unsure of this place. We’d read several unfavorable reviews, and the host seemed rather abrupt when he seated us. But once we started chatting with him (he turned out to be our server as well), he was actually a really nice guy and a very attentive waiter. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. It was my son’s 22nd birthday, and when they learned this, they brought him a free dessert and we all sang happy birthday. In all, a great experience. We will be back!

We visited Ortega's for the first time tonight and we were very impressed! The service was fantastic, everyone was so friendly and helpful! Our food came out really fast, and was delicious (best tamale I have had in a while!). We will definitely be returning very soon!
