We picked up a tray of enchiladas on Christmas Eve and they were absolutely delicious. Everyone loved them. They were very kind when I picked them up, packaged well, very generous with the chicken, and the chile had a great flavor and wasn’t too spicy. I’m so happy we went with them for our Christmas Eve meal and we will definitely be back.

We love Monroe's and have eaten here for years. All the food is really good, and the calabacitas are the best in town, never overcooked or soggy. The service is great, partly because of their system they have, where any of the staff will assist you with refills and etc, not just your assigned server. Also Monroe's has THE BEST iced tea in the city. I know that sounds like a minor thing, but it's not. Tea people know the difference between good tea and lousy tea, and the Monroe's iced tea is great.

Still, really, honestly, one of the best actual New Mexican restaurants in New Mexico! Everything taste fresh. Nothing comes out of a can. It’s all homemade flavor. The only better tacos are in some of the taco trucks around town, but for a good wholesome sit down Mexican meal… Monroe’s is my favorite!

Love this family owned restaurant and went to the newer location for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. The flavor is tremendous and the service was top notch. Grabbed a few pints of pasole and adovada to go for the drive back to Texas.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in town . Cool ambience and friendly staff. We tried 4 different dishes and we liked them pretty much. There was not too much cheese or fat and that why separate them from other restaurants. Only issue that we had was that they forgot our frito pie ( their special) but
I will go more and for now I give them 4.1 ⭐️

First time visiting this restaurant and will definitely go back. I would have given a 5 star, but the rice was a little dry and undercooked for my liking. With that said, everything else was excellent! Our table had everything from rellenos to enchiladas, and with a table of 10, there wasn't one complaint. We are native New Mexicans and picky about new mexican food, and this place was simple, flavorful, and well prepared without a lot of unnecessary spices. The food speaks for itself here. Great job!

The food was excellent. It was really busy. We ordered ahead and there was still a wait when we got there. But the food was hot and fresh.

Great food, I had Super Combination Platter with Enchilada, Taco, and Tamale topped with Fried Egg. My husband had Chimichangas. They are very tasty and their sopaipillas are really good!!!!! Highly recommend.

Everything was prompt. I had a Carne Asada plate and their margarita. Both were great. The chips and salsa were fresh. The service was great. The wait staff shares the customers and everyone was attentive and accommodating. Just the right amount of mild heat.
I hadn't had that type of margarita and the waitress brought me a sample!
I'll be back.

My daughter and I went to Monroe's for a girl getaway. Our server was absolutely wonderful, we had several people stop in and check on us, we ate out on the patio with the fountain. It was so wonderful. We ordered the green chili chicken enchiladas, hers flat and mine rolled. We also got the flan for dessert. The soapillas were melt in your mouth delicious.
