Growing up in NE Albuquerque, 5 Star Burger used to be my favorite burger spot. And once I turned 21, obviously turned into a great spot for happy hour drinks. Finally coming back and visiting Albuquerque after several years, I was glad to see this spot still busy during happy hour. I could be wrong
We always enjoy this place. The burgers are delicious and filling and they have a nice variety of options. My only complaint is with the buns: they tend to fall apart easily and/or get so soggy from the juicy burgers that they become a mess after a few bites. Happy hour menu is great and very reason

I went here to have lunch after a hard day of work. Had a 5 star burger and small fries. Both were fresh and delicious. Great bun, patty and condiments. I hadn't been to this place in over 10 years. A great local burger joint with beer.
Burgers have been good each time and takeout orders correct. Picking up takeout could go smoother. Took me speaking with 4 people, including the manager just for someone to hand me the bag that was sitting at the bar when I walked in. It was not busy.

Our server tonight was Meg! She is so great, fast, polite, and good at banter "freakin adorable" She made our night. Food was delicious! The burgers were perfectly hot and fresh. Thanks for having such a great place!
This was pretty fantastic food.
There were a lot of options on their burger menu. I ended up starting with the old-timer, and adding cheese and bacon. It was *so* good!

This place definitely serves high quality beef patties. The fries and onion rings are cooked to perfection. Only rings had the perfect crispness. The hamburgers were large portions and only con was that the green chile was very bland and not spicy. It needs actual mild/hot green chile to give it tha
Great tasting burgers. Also had the tuna bowl and was superb. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Got here at 5pm on a Saturday and filled up quickly when it got closer to 6. Good atmosphere. Good selection of beers.
