The Grill

Great place to stop! The food was great, prices well and the staff was nice. The owner was very friendly towards are large party and gave us a tour of the place. He even welcomed us into his man cave and watched the rams vs saints game! There was a man even playing live music which was nice. Highly recommend stopping by, maybe even eat at the meeting table with the rolling chairs lol

4.7 out of 5 Did not disappoint, at all. One of the best burgers I've had- if you like crispy edges on a burger patty, this knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend and will be going on my favorite list. Only issue I had was there was absolutely no soap in the women's restroom and the dispenser looked like it hadn't been used in a while.

The Grill on San Mateo here in Albuquerque must be the best place in town for open fire flame broiled, grilling that I know of. At least on my side of town., Not only is their beef amazing but their open flamed grilled chicken is also delicious and tantalizing. You will absolutely not go wrong if you order grilled chicken over a bed of greens that are fresh and taste like they were picked from a garden. Not like they pulled them out of a bag., The house made salsa takes on a whole other level of deliciousness and the tortilla chips are perfectly fried and semi salted. I must mention the nicest people that work there, always provide excellent customer service and customer hospitality. This place is always clean and put together and they also provide live music on certain evenings. Talented musicians ! WHAT a treat! Do yourself a a real favor and go experience The Grill on San Mateo. Oh! And the Onion Rings!!! Son of a gun!!!

I had my first visit to this place today, and I can't believe I've been missing out for all these years. The hamburger was undoubtedly the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and had a great vibe. The service, especially Sandra's, was fantastic. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're definitely missing out! 🍔😊

This is the best burger to get in Albuquerque. The fries were delicious and they have free chips and salsa. They cook the burgers fresh so there is a wait but they were so attentive and polite from the cashier to the cooks. They also had a topping bar so you can add all you wanted to your burger, even tomatoes. And they have a burger contest too, I'm training for that. I was thinking initially it's was going to be some cheap over priced food with no real customer service. I could not have been more wrong and grateful I was! Long story short. I'd kiss the cook and the rest of the staff there. If you ever wanted a home town personalized eatery this is it! Our waitress went above and beyond along with the chef to give our first time there the experience. Don't forget about the live bands too. The Grill has us as regulars now! The steak 🥩 and hotdog 🌭 is a must! Please enjoy as we did!

Remember how good Blake's used to be back in the day? Well, now you have this place and just bump up the quality and the yumminess that you remember from Blake's and you have this. Fresh condiments bar for your burgers, wonderful antiques to look at on the walls, and prime rib. This place is a hidden gem and you have absolutely got to try it. I cannot recommend it enough. The folks running the place are pure gold.
