Unique establishment with incredible New Mexican food. Some of the best carne adovada I have ever had and the tortillas are delicious. The brisket was also wonderful- tender and flavorful. I would imagine everything here is great. A true gem.

Excellent authentic New Mexican food
Portions are huge, taste is great, and very filling. We got mexican plate #1 and could not finish it between the two of us. All for less than 25$

You walk into this place and instantly you are taken back to the way things used to be...but in a really good way. I got the breakfast sopapilla and tamales. All were delicious. The staff was very friendly and went over the menu. Definitely recommend 👌 👍
Best tamales and rice in town. This is NOT a sit down restaurant. It’s a grab and go. They have picnic tables outside by the parking lot. You can see the employees making tamales in the very large industrial kitchen.
This is carryout only, but we'll worth it. Some local patrons suggested the sopapilla & they were right on. I added some bacon and recommend this for meat eaters.
Definitely recommend stopping by. I would call ahead if you’re in a hurry, they are pretty popular and usually have a little bit of a wait. But it is well worth it. The tacos Nuevos plate are a really good, classic taco, with beef and potato. My husband got the Mexican plate which has a bit of everything. It was a lot of food, but he enjoyed everything on it. Their red chile sauce is super good which smothers pretty much everything. Highly recommend either plate.

Delicious food and massive quantities. I ordered the Mexican play just to keep it simple and there must have been four or five pounds of food. In three different containers. $13, amazing
Great food! Recommend the Mexican Plate if you have trouble to decide. Big portion can easily feed two people, stop by every time if you pass Albuquerque!
The desert comes with honey, which also tasty just eat it along ! The ribs and enchiladas are also great!

A small family owned restaurant/tortilla, Tamales factory. If you were not raised in Albuquerque, or lived there for sometime. You may not find it, or you might not have known it exist. But those of us that know where it is understands why they might not advertise or trying to recruit new customers. This place had been around since the early 1900's, and the wait for your order is never quickly. And that's a good thing. The line to order exactly that, a line. Because so many people (probably the same people like me there every day) but a crowd is always ordering, picking up orders, eating, etc. From open to close they are slammed with us customers wanting more of their delicious food. Now, everything I've had from the menu is a big portion of food. I'm a big guy, and a taco plate for me. Well I can get one taco down, the rest of the plate is for another meal. Great place, even greater food, and good customer service. If you've never eaten here, you're missing out. Next time you're wanting some Mexican food, give them a try. I recommend eating here, and if the weather is nice. Sit in the patio, and watch how people are coming and going how busy they stay. Now IL hungry, maybe I'll see you there.
Food is delicious. Tamales and stuffed a must. But shocked when ordering tamales yesterday. 96.00 for 2 dozen tamales!! Usually pay about 28.00. Omg
