Fantastic food! Fantastic service.
Discovered this gem thanks to google and high reviews of our service men and women from the nearby Air-force Base!
This was our first good stop in Albuquerque and it did not disappoint!
Fantastic food and beautiful atmosphere!
The food was absolutely fantastic! Our party ordered the chicken flautas, chicken fajitas, chicken burrito, ground beef tacos, seafood enchiladas, and Combination 1 (beef tamale, cheese enchilada, beef taco, carne adovada).
The entrees came with several sides, including sopapillas!
The portions were very generous, food was fresh and hot (fajitas were sizzling), and they had a great variety of options. The good was very flavourful.
They had several options for sensitive stomachs and keto/paleo dietary needs. I was able to order food that was not spicy at all, and there was no sacrificing of flavor!
Our party also had the housemade sangrias, which were sangria, and the prickly pear margarita.
We would all visit again and recommend it to others!
Note: This restaurant is not wheelchair friendly.
Great food had the combination #2. Consisted of a taco, enchilada, chili relleno, & carne adovada. Chili was just right, not too spicy or too mild. Service was wonderful. We had a party of 9 with a bill of about $190.00 including tip which is a good price. Will come back again.
Best New Mexican food I have tried so far. We ordered carne adovada and it was great. The ambiance was good with a mix of Christmas and Valentines. Fast, value for food and good service.
Yummy! My family and I eat here occasionally. It one of our favorites.
Impressed! From the outside appearance I was expecting the typical Mexican restaurant with tables chairs maybe some Saltillo tile or hard floors and this place was like walking into a speak easy. Very cool feeling of the 70-80s searing. Food was good and service was friendly. Definitely give it a shot.
Cervantes is unassuming from the outside but once you go through those doors, it’s one of the most cozy atmosphere to enjoy superb New Mexican cuisine! Their carne adovado is one of the most comforting and tasty bite of food I’ve experienced to date. If you’re traveling in the area, I can’t recommend Cervantes enough!
Came here to eat before the Lobo game. Wow!!! Haven’t been here in over 20 years. I tell you what, what a great experience. Genevieve was our waitress and she was on fire. Drinks never went empty chips and salsa flowed and the food was correct and outstanding. I had the shredded beef enchiladas. Definitely a spot I’m coming back . Salsa was great sopas were tasty tea was fresh . Hopefully the boss man lets her know she was outstanding
So I was told about this place a couple of days ago so we decided to stop by and try it. As soon as we walk in the mariachi is playing and that was cool. The service was awesome the waiter was on top of his game. The food was great also my Carnitas plate came out sizzling right off the grill and it was great. Good job guys definitely coming back for the rest of the menu. Thanks

I love the bread they serve with honey, very soft and tasty. You don’t typically get it with Mexican food. The Pina Colada was tasty as were my nachos. I was with huge party and although the service started slow it did get better and faster. I think it took time to decide how many people they needed to service us. The food was good but nothing to rave about.
