A nice Irish pub in Albuquerque. I went after a friend recommended this place two years ago. Ordered the fish and chips, beer and root beer. Fish was fresh, and tasty. Not greasy. Chips were hot, fresh and crispy. Beer was delicious off the tap. Root beer was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. I love this place a little spendy. Go check them out for the best fish and chips in ABQ.

One of the things I miss about San Diego and the Northeast is a well-poured Guinness. Another is fish & chips. I stopped in at Two Fools Tavern today for both. Despite being in the middle of a state somewhat less green than Ireland, they pull off the fare quite well. The Guinness was well poured and the fish & chips generous. If you order the bread pudding, bring a friend or get a box. If you're lucky, Tori will be your server.

Visiting Albuquerque and the positive reviews of this place were accurate. We ordered the hot wings (great), beef stew (very good), cottage pie (great), and fish & chips (amazing). Highly recommend this place. Ryan was our server and he handled our demanding dinner rather well.

All the food is fresh not from a box. We had the fish & chips it was great & also had the Beef dip sandwich. All was excellent. Homemade coleslaw with apples & even the tarter sauce was homemade. Our server was Mariah & one of the owners (Russell) was there. It always impresses me when a owner doesn't think their above helping out. Have worked for too many who sit in their office counting their money while the employees work their tales off. Workers have more respect & work harder when the owner/ boss can roll up their sleeves & help out. We will definitely be back.

Whenever I travel I try to find a place that serves UK inspired meals. For Albuquerque this place is it. I tied a cup of the beef stew since today was nice and cold for soup. Very good , I then had bangers and mash in which was very good as well. My Girlfriend had the fish and chips. She enjoyed everything about her dish. Atmosphere is good it is a pub but very cozy we sat next to the fireplace. I really enjoyed this pub and I think you will too!

I can't stop gushing about their food. My kiddo even asks "when we are returning" for more yummy tavern food. Fish and chips are my fav, but cottage pie and nachos are also delicious!

My brother-in-law took us to this local watering hole for the "best fish n' chips" in town. My son and I ordered the double plate to split and was not disappointed. It was a lively evening (Saturday) as we all enjoyed our meals - French dip, wings, and a burger with a pint of Guinness. The server was on top of it all meal and we finished with cheesecake.

Super good! Came in with a friend on her recommendation. Glad we did! We split the liffey chips and a burger and fries. All of it was delicious! Especially the liffey chips! The extra dips were fantastic. Place seemed busy, which is normally a good sign! Prices were reasonable. Waiter was friendly. Definitely worth a try!

We recently moved from Wisconsin to Albuquerque and have been homesick for some fish fry. We went here on a Friday night and were so pleasantly surprised. Every host/bartender/server had amazing customer service. They were on top of it, kind, friendly, and professional. We ordered the fish fry and let me tell you, it's WORTH the money. These fish pieces were LARGE and in charge- if you're not too hungry, I recommend getting the one piece. However, we're always happy to have leftovers. The fries were seasoned to perfection and the one good thing about going to an American pub and not one in England is...you can still order ranch. I'm picky about my ranch, and holy moly, this ranch was probably one of the best restaurant house made ranches I've had in a while. If you know you know. Of course, the malt vinegar had a special appearance as well. The only complaint I have is the apples in the coleslaw...why. Please no. But that's just me being picky. If you're looking for a mean old fashioned and fish + chips, go to 2 Fools.
