Amazing place! They make the best coffee I've ever had. The food, service and atmosphere are all top notch. They are dog friendly if you sit outside (ample shade from the umbrellas). We wound up there every day of our trip to Albany ;)

We enjoyed an early morning coffee and cake. The service, atmosphere, food and coffee were all great. I couldn't fault them. If there was one thing I would improve, it would be to heat the coffee shop up a little, although I can understand why this would be difficult to do with a large open door area.
We would definitely come back to have meal on our next visit to Albany.

Staying local, we came to Bay Merchants for breakfast. And we weren't disappointed.
The coffee was excellent. Short and strong. And the breakfast was tasty too.

Great tasting breakfast, was very busy when we arrived, though managed to get a table for 4. Our meals came surprisingly quickly nearly the same time our coffee came. Great tasting coffee and great tasting OJ. Plates were good sized portions. Recommended highly

Coffee was nice and frothy but burning hot. Maybe we could stop assuming that everybody wants their coffee extra hot and actually ask ? Perfect temperature is between 65-70°, and over that just completely change the texture ...
