Cutest little shop for Mexican home goods. They have everything from tortilla baskets to pottery to Christmas ornaments to rugs. Everything is really beautiful and reasonably priced. The store owner, Carlos, is the nicest guy! He’ll answer all your questions and even give you tips on how to properly care for your items 👍

If you are searching for the finest in Mexican Folk Art and live in the San Francisco Area and beyond, Casa Oaxaca is your go-to, one-stop shop for you to visit. Also, if you have kids who enjoy rock painting, there is a new rock painting instructional book available on Amazon.com called Rock Painting For Kids Mexican Folk Art Style, by Mexican Folk Artist, Maria Sandoval.

Great place to shop for gifts. We went and got a gift for a friend in a nursing home to cheer her up. Owner is super nice and can tell you all kinds of details about the products in the shop. Definitely stop here if you are in Albany and need to buy gifts.

The owner was warm and friendly, and he answered many questions we had. He also gave us interesting information about the origin and uses of the folk art we purchased. The store had beautifully carved masks, dia de los muertos figures, and tons of nichos. It will be my go to place for Mexican folk art from here on out.

Casa Oaxaca is a cute and jammed pack store; a technicolour explosion. They have serapes, calacas, tin magnets, embroidered dresses, purses and every other thing you could think of from Mexico. What they don't have are affordable prices. I'm not going to pretend that I didn't mind surrendering $65 to the viejo who runs this shop. I really minded. But, his embroidered shirts are only $30. Still, it's worth a trip in checking out. I suppose when the only two stores I could find online in the area that sell the embroidered dresses are in Albany and East Oakland...this is the kind of store people who want to avoid East Oakland should come to. Personally, I'll deal with East Oakland next time.

Great, affordable craft from all of Mexico, plus seasonal items. If you need a quick gift that's the place.

I love this store - I stop by every so often to see what’s new. check out the huge wooden Coca-Cola cooler/trunk in the back, its a bargain price if you have the room for it. absolutely beautiful!
