I had already been to the Little Star in Oakland and was thrilled to see it in Albany. My friends stay in El Cerrito and we were feeling like having pizza so opted for the Litte Star :)
We enjoyed the broccoli parmesan to start with and furtherly enjoyed the simple margherita pizza thin crust (we asked for it as they don't have it on the menu) which was delicious - my 4 years old enjoyed it to the fullest :). The deep dish was nice and light and very flavorful!
Lovely place and buzzing with life which is good to see post a pandemic :)
Seriously good pizza. I had both the Deep Dish and the thin, and both were excellent. The Burrata we had for an appetizer was also quite nice. I think it's the best Deep Dish in the Bay Area. Just check out the pix :)
Good fresh pizza! Had a custom thin crust with bacon, pepperoni and mozzarella and it was delicious. The thin crust was crisp just how I like it. The water tasted amazing too for some reason I drank it all.
They have great deep dish pizza if you're a fan of deep dish, but I just really want to say you need to try their thin crust pizza. Signature cornmeal crust. This is one of the best pizza joints around El Cerrito. All their roasted veggies are AMAZING! Outdoor seating if you want to bring your dog.
Great deep dish pizza, rivaled only by the likes of Zachary's. Their crust is very different than a traditional pizza crust, which isn't a bad thing. I'd recommend The Little Star as a good go-to!
Beautiful and spacious interior, good for a family night out or a romantic couples evening. Service is excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive.
The pizza were pretty good. Their signature deep dish was bursting with flavor, their cornmeal crust almost like a crunchy cornbread biscuit. The thin crust chicken pesto was a bit disappointing in comparison. Pretty decent, especially the pesto, but the chicken a little dry and the crust a little overbaked.
Overall a good experience for both lunch and dinner.
Much better flavor than Zachary's they actually do something with the tomatoes they put on top of the Deep Dish. And also their crust is much more flavorful the cornmeal Edition
