UPDATE: Every time we have tried since this first time there has been a lack of employees and closed early. Not going back :-(
They stayed open and fed us after they were going to close. It was hot and fresh and delicious!!! And they never made us feel rushed. We will definitely be returning!!!

Love me some IHOP! I normally get the breakfast combo and I got the blueberry pancakes with blueberry compote. So good! Seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waiter was nice and attentive. Didn't have to wait long on the food either. No complaints. Try the tres leches pancakes. Those are bomb!
Thought we'd show up in the slow period between breakfast & lunch. Seems like all of Albany had the same idea. The place was way busier than I thought it would be. Food was good & came out really fast. We sat down, ordered, & ate in 25 minutes. The one negative to the visit was that we then had to wait 15 minutes for a to go box & get the bill taken care of. Asked for a box when the waitress brought the bill. Since she didn't bring it when she came back to pick up my card, we asked again. When she brought my card back, she still didn't have the box. She left to get it & came to the dining room empty handed & went right to another table. Finally able to flag her down & ask her again. She went & got it then. I worked in the service industry for years so I know how it can be when it's busy, but you still can't be that forgetful when serving.
Except for the PRESSURE WASHER (((literally))) running in the kitchen, the food was pretty good. Skip the chocolate pancakes.
