BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER! I absolutely love Indian cuisine and have tried Indian restaurants in both the USA and Europe. India Palace is hands-down one of the best places to go if you're looking for authentic, tasty, and absolutely delicious Indian Food. I got the Chicken Palak to go, paired it with some rice at home, and will definitely be back to try the Chicken Tikka Masala next!

Are outside in the covered patio. Tables well spaced. The food of course was delicious, served hot. And was more than we could finish this afternoon. This restaurant is a gem. Enough servers so food came quickly. Definitely the place to go if you want generous servings of well-prepared Indian food.

This is not my first time going and I have enjoyed everything I chose...or shared with my companions. I have to mention how their COVID accommodations are delightful. The parking lot is transformed into a shaded but open dining space complete with plants on the walls and two water fountains to aerate and mask the traffic sounds. Note: this does mean you need to find street parking.

Food was less than mediocre. Watery tikka masala and malai kofta. Same watery creamy sauce poured into both diehes. Horrible...Will not visit again. No service to applause with staff or food.

The food was delicious the service slow with only one server working the back patio. We asked them to put on the heater but they said it was already on. It wasn't a very cold day, but it was chilly in the back. Plus, there was construction going on next door and it was impossible to hold a conversation. I will do take out next time or wait until they open the inside before I return.

Not exactly sure how these reviews are so high but this place is really not good at all. The mango lassi was straight watered down mango pulp with sugar. The malai kofta was a generic tomato cream sauce and the kofta balls were very grainy and bland in flavor. The samosas were also generic and expensive for what it is. Overall terrible. I have yet to encounter a decent Indian restaurant in this area (Oakland/Alameda).

Lovely restaurant with charming outdoor seating behind the main building. Fast service and delicious food. They make the best chicken Tikka masala. The chicken was so tender. I ordered it with Saffron Basmati rice and some paratha. Big fan of India Palace!
