Macho Taco

We had the tacos Birria, a chorizo street taco, and a chicken taco. I also had a cold brew. The food was really delicious. Good value. The cashier was great. The restroom is a little sketchy though. Gentlemen, I recommend walking your lady to the restroom as it is kind of tucked away in the back of the building. You have to go through a scary hallway. Other than that, I highly recommend Macho Taco.

This place is a hidden gem!! My husband found this place on google while on a family vacation to Six Flags, and I am SO glad he did. We ate here twice while on vacation and the food was incredible!! We are from Arizona and used to getting really authentic Mexican food, but now living in Maine the “Mexican” food out here is not the same. This place was some of the best Mexican food we have ever had, surpassing most of the places we have eaten at in Arizona. I will definitely be coming back here again. Make sure to try their Birria Vampiros tacos, they were absolutely amazing, as well as their carne asada fries (the best I have ever had!), and their taco salad with spicy pork (aka Chorizo) was so delicious!

Macho taco is a great place to eat! The food is always fresh, delicious and well prepared. I’ve had many of the items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is normally ready sooner than the time they give you. Of course this isn’t a bad thing, but I suggest getting there sooner to make sure the food is hot.

Best tacos I've ever had, with this kind of pricing too. It's a little messy but that's to be expected. The flavour and preparation is phenomenal, portion sizes could maybe be improved because you have to order the tacos per serving instead of getting a batch of 2-3 tacos in one order, but that's hardly an issue. Be aware that the tortillas do rip and get soggy if you leave them too long, so make sure to eat them fresh or ask them to separate the fillings for when you're about to eat. They don't skimp on the good ingredients. My favourites are the shrimp tacos and the flautas. They don't do dine in during the pandemic so you have to order for pickup in advance or for delivery. The staff is helpful and kind.

Food was really good..people were very nice..had the street corn it was excellent..really everything was very very good as well as the fact that they got the order 100 percent right as we left a few things off and got somethings on the side great place willost definitely be going back soon!!..Only reason for the 4 instead of 5...burrito was a little light on meat and heavy on rice...wasn't bad enough to not go again...and even that was good !!

The food here is always on point! I eat from here about 4 times a week! My fave meal is the Carne asada taco meal and I ALWAYS get a piece of tres leches cake, however, the last time I got one it was a bit spoiled and made me sick. If you know the cake you know it is soaked in 3 different kinds of milks so you have to be careful. My most recent visit there I went up to order my cake and asked if I could pick my own slice and was told I could not because they have to give you the "oldest" ones!? That didn't sit well with me given my previous experience. I proceed to ask her how old exactly and she began to get noticeably frustrated. She replied "they're good hunny" to which I replied "ok but how old" and she finally Says "about 2 days old". At this point my craving was gone. I couldn't believe she wouldn't just let me pick my own piece that I was about to pay $6+ for so I told her nevermind thank you and left. I never leave reviews but I had to get this one off my chest as I sit here at home now craving my tres leches 😫🥺
