Cesar's Place

The food and service at the Bernice location was great so we thought we would try the one in grove. Awful awful. They messed a simple order of cheese enchiladas up four times. The second time that they messed them up the Second waitress says to the other waitress you go back and tell him because he’s going to get mad. He messes it up another time and the girls bring it out or setting up there at the counter looking at it and laughing and going on anon about it. Everyone else had finished eating. I called the Bernice location because the lady that waited on us last week said she was the owner. Clearly the girl that answered the phone today was not the owner because she said why are you bothering me about the grove location? I don’t work there! I said do you own it? Said said yes. Yeah I don’t think so because a owner would want to know about their other location. She refused to get someone else on the phone.

Very poor service, only 1 waitress for a busy night. Didn't get drink orders taken until food order was taken. Our food was cold, very small portions (nachos & taco salad especially), quality was very low. Had to ask waitress 3 times for tortillas that should've came with my meal... which then my food was ice cold. Then get home and we both were on the toilet for hours. Never again.

The place seems to be family owned/managed. It had a good vibe, the service was a little slow but not overly so. The appetizers came with the meal and were cold, and overall flavor was bland, however their jalepenos were fire and the best part of the experience. We have looked for hot salsa and peppers at almost every restaurant we go to and we finally found it here.

We had come here a time before when the place was originally called Caesar’s now it’s marina bar and grill I believe. Same person, just different name. We had honestly enjoyed the place before whatever had happened to the establishment the food was plenty, cheap, good and excellent service! This time was absolutely horrendous how you even would treat a person this way is absolutely beyond me, we had ordered the same as always I order the half order of nachos he ordered full she had got the drinks wrong that was no a big deal I’ve worked in the food industry and understood a hard long day, she fixed it we thanked her but then she messed our orders up she had given us both full nachos but it came with NINE chips, for nearly 8.00 and tax for NINE chips , originally we had thought she just mixed up the order but they were the same amount then she went to tell me that my order was a full then presented us a plate of chips and said this is the half and it was the EXACT SAME amount of chips just NINE then the owner of the place arrives and starts to tell us because he owns the place if we wanted more chips and meat we had to buy that order and another yet he was taking that plate from us my husband then said no I’ll buy one order the order that I get to eat, the owner then decides my husband CANT EAT AT ALL, the whole rest of the time there we didn’t get refills we weren’t checked on we were glared at and talked about,. This is absolutely the worst establishment I’ve ever seen and to treat your customers that way and then prove them right and still belittle them my husband sat through the meal with no food they wouldn’t allow us to order him anything and we paid of course and left because we are good people but I hope whoever reads this realizes the kind of crummy people they are and doesn’t encourage a ungoldy place such as that. Will NEVER be going there again I’ll drive to grove or Miami instead
