Dave's Diner

New favorite breakfast gem!! We were greeted upon entry, seated, immediately offered menus and water. Worker was very quickly cooking up our orders and the wonderful smells filled the air☺☺. Two eggs w/ cheese melts in your mouth!! Potatoes were great and never!, ever! order more than one pancake!! They were delicious and huge!! I also ordered a shrimp special to go and it was cooked to perfection and packaged for me. I will DEFINITELY return. Food and service was awesome!!!

Cash Only! We enjoyed Dave’s Diner. It gives a small town diner vibe which is nice to have around this area. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted and treated with kindness. The staff was very friendly. At Dave’s, they cook the food on the griddle right in front of customers. I ordered the slinger with Chili which was good. The serving size for the slinger is pretty big. I had to take leftover. My fiancée ordered the omelette, a small order of biscuit and gravy plus coffee. He said his food was also good. I’d definitely come back for breakfast. *Note: ATM in the diner was out of order but there’s a few banks nearby to quickly get some cash.

As soon as I came in I was greeted, the server suggested the deep fried biscuits and gravy. This was new to me so I had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised and wondered where this has been my whole life. Everyone here was pleasant and talked to me like I was their friend. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu and of course the deep fried B&G.

It's was so great to be back in an old, diner, where they still had big glass sugar dispensers on the table along with a silver creamer,ketchup, salt and pepper, they had the old silver spinning seats at the bar and small tables that reminded me of mom's kitchen as a child. They ladies that work there were so friendly, listened to my breakfast order and put it together better than I had communicated..lol...my husband's sunny side up eggs were just right and everything was yummy. Did I mention they also had individual jellys on the table also which my hubby loved with his toast. The customers were friendly and we all chatted. Very laid back and special. We're here visiting from FL and always look for these mom & pop places and you sure have a special one here! 😀
