Review Hopdoddy Burger Bar - Addison

Me my partner and a friend visited this restaurant recently. We had burgers from the menu and a salad. All the food was well prepared and tasted great. A proper burger place. The price was reasonable too.

This is a great new place to try if you’re a burger lover! The staff is really kind and I love the ambience of the restaurant, but I will admit that the fries are definitely not something you have to worry about trying, they are a bit lacking! However the burgers are pretty delicious and juicy, there’s a lot of flavor going on and it’s definitely amazing! The chicken burger is pretty good on flavor but I will admit that my tummy was a bit upset after eating it, so take that as you will! Definitely come out and try this place, it’s pretty delicious overall! The prices are pretty fair, although I will admit that the portions to seem a little bit smaller than anticipated! I definitely will be going back!

Service was amazing. Checked on often and prompt delivery of food. Beer. Choices are great! Give hopdoddy a shot if in the area

My favorite burger place in DFW. The Addison location is fun, easygoing, and hip. The staff really seem to enjoy what they do making the best burgers and fries, and they go out of their way to keep a good repertoire with customers. Once, I ordered an impossible burger with a gluten free bun without realizing the impossible meat has a small amount of gluten in it, and they explained that to me while picking up the to go order, remade the entire meal, and gave us 2 free meals as an apology for something that was in truth not their fault! Shout-out to Cody and Joshua for being excellent people and going so far for your customers. We'll definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the food and service, good area close to my home. The cashiers are always super friendly. Highly recommended.

Pretty good burger place! The fries are great too. Little over priced, in my opinion, for what you get.

This is so far my favorite burger restaurant. It has amazing food and drinks. Never it has disappointed me. Also, ask for the variety of dipping sauce. They're the best. TOTALLY RECOMMEND THE PLACE. 10/10.

Starting off I think it should be noted that there were not busy at all. They told us 15 minutes to get our to go order prepared. Upon coming home and checking our food we noticed about half of our order was in correct. I myself am slightly allergic to tomatoes and had specified no tomatoes on my burger. Of course my burger came with tomatoes and had to be thrown out. They really did try but unfortunately Hopdoddy did not meet the basic standard for takeout food today. Please try a little harder to get orders correct especially for people that cannot eat everything. I really do recommend checking your order before leaving and having to experience this.

Hopdoddys is one of the more famous chains burger joints in texas. From humble beginnings in Austin, it rose to prominence in what I refer to as the hipster restaurant renaissance. Often called the best burger in whatever city today I put it to the test. Is it good? Yes, Is it the best? far from it. The quality of the meat, bun, and veggies are better than say a Whataburger, The cooking is top notch and the friends are above standard but It's no Maple and Motor or Wingfield or Jimmy's Big Burger., three local burger joints that provide what Hopdoddy does without the pretentiousness and at a cheaper cost. But, again, I feel I need to say, It's not a bad burger. , It's just not the 'best". Would I place I ion the top 10 of Dallas Yes, The top five, yes, Between Burger Island and Jimmy's? Rating: I'm giving it a 3.4 out of 5.

I went in to try the impossible burger and it was very good. Not amazing, but very good. A bit better than I expected and I ate the whole thing. I did find that seating is a bit confusing but a nice greeter lady got me to the correct place.

Amazing burgers! Went with my significant other and had an amazing time. He got the Diablo and I got the turkey burger, both were phenomenal! 10/10 would recommend this place to everyone!!

Very poor service! This is our least favorite Hopdoddy's location (Addison location), we only stop here after we drop our son to his dorm at UTD. Tonight was the second time we did not get fries that we ordered. After reminding the waiter we got the fries but everyone had already finished our burgers. The staff either ignores you or seems too busy talking to each other. Nobody cares about the service, may be that's why they collect the tips upfront when you order your food! We love their McKinney St location at Dallas, better burgers and service. I love the El Diablo burger and their ginger lemonade.

This is the best and my favorite burger joint in Dallas and Austin. Love the one and only Ahi Tuna burger!

The Hapoy Hour is an excellent value. The burgers are great and the Green Chile Queso is some of the finest queso I have had anywhere. The truffle aioli with the parmesan fries are great as well.

$12.45 for a mushroom & provolone w/fries seems a bit much. I get it you make everything but the burger but still. Yes it's good buy I can have an entire meal non fast food place per sae for the price I paid.

It was good service, but the tables needed bussing. I thought the burger was good, I’ve had better ones for sure. I enjoyed the side salad. I did not love the house salad dressing. The Ranch was good. I’ve got it on my list for burgers, but not at the top.
