Review La Placita Taqueria - Addison

My family brought me tacos & they actually traveled over an hour with them before I could enjoy them. I warmed them up & w/ the tortilla chips & 3 different salsas I felt like I was at the restaurant. It was the best part of my entire day! This restaurant makes delicious food that travels well!

It's one of those hidden places with great service and really good flavorful food. If you are in the area stop by, you wont regret it!

I’ve been going here for years for as long as they’ve been in business. The staff is friendly. Food is reasonably priced. Kid friendly environment. There steak al carbon is amazing. They have 2 of the best salsas if you ask for them. The avocado salsa is very flavorful and tasty(not spicy). The habanero salsa has good heat and is the best around. I highly recommend if you’re looking for affordable delicious food.

Been here many times. Staff is always friendly. The Horchata is the best!☺

Yeah, this place has very good food but there has been a few times that I have been there and order the pastor. It not bad but it's not my favorite. Parking can be a struggle at times but that's not horrible either. I'd recommend it.

This is by far, one of the best places for Mexican food around! We have been going here for at least 15 years that I can remember, if not longer. We've tried other places around Addison, but none of them compares to the quality, portions and incredible flavor of their food. Even all of their sauces are phenomenal!

Simply the best tacos I've ever had. The Al Carbon tacos are an amazing Mexican food experience. I've been going once a week for 5 years now and I look forward to it each week. Their salsas alone are worth the trip. We have a group that goes every week and no one walks away unhappy. It's a gem!

Ah the joy this place brings me! Tacos are under $2, and they are great! If you want extra sauces in bigger cups (maybe 6oz cups), it's $1 per sauce! Super cheap! I usually call in advance and place an order just because they seem to get busy at night, especially in the weekend since they are open super late. We recently tried the torta and burrito and they are just as good as the tacos. Side Note (i always pick up food, i do not eat there so i cannot say how service is for dine in. but for carry out they have been quite nice) Update - if i could give them 10 stars i would! we just had a party this Saturday and since we all are taco lovers, we decided to order 100 tacos from here. We didn't want individual tacos so they put the meat in trays and cave us tubs (TUBS) of onion, cilantro, cheese, tomato, sauces, guac. I mean, we had about 25 people, that each had easily 4 tacos, and came back late for more and the next day there was enough meat left to feed a family get-together! I absolutely love this place. the food was amazing, they were great and for $240 with tax and tip for all that. I mean, what else can you ask for?

Only been here 2 times. Both more than worth it. It's a sit down place though keep in mind you'll have to pay a tip, but they are available for pickup as well. Staff are friendly. Definitely would recommend.

I had a party and I ordered a Taco bar and it was fabulous, everything we needed flour and corn tortillas, Carne Asada (steak), Chicken, refried beans, rice, Salsas , Guacamole and chips. It was so delicious. I highly recommend this establishment. We will be using them again!

Food is delicious. Weekend morning waitress is very nice.

The price is great and the food is to die for! Nothing in or around town compares. I'm broke and can still come 3 times a week. (My daughter helped with the review.) The staff has been here for many years and they are super!
