Review Mario's - Addison

This place is excellent. We catered subs for a bday party and they were delicious and fresh. Customer service is great, he cared so much about what I was ordering and that it would be fresh for pick up. I got so many compliments on the food at the party I’m pretty sure Mario’s now has at least ten more customers-what a hit! Definitely my go to. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, just check it out yourself.

"Temporarily Closed until Oct. Relocating" Great home made daily soups, desserts, Italian sauces, pasta dishes, awesome meatballs, my favorite is their Spinach Lasagna. Also has great hot & cold subs & sandwiches. I was sad when I saw they are tearing down their building. I would really miss their food. I called their phone # and their message says "They are Temporarily Closed as they are Relocating and opening in October off Lake St and Addison Rd in the Green Meadows Shopping Center." By Jewel and Portillos.

An oasis of delicious homemade Italian food in a desert of mediocre restaurants. Every time I come here my expectations are met above and beyond. The food is made with care and authenticity, and the staff are friendly. Selection of pastas, panini, sandwiches and a bakery section with espresso bar. One of the areas best lunch spots

Best Subs around and the meatballs (a picture speaks a thousand words)... Also take and bake pizza with imported pizza crust. Everything is fresh and made from scratch! Do yourself a favor RUN don't walk to Mario's Deli for the best lunch around! Amazing CATERING menu as well!

Outstanding subs! Very polite and friendly! The sandwiches are DELICIOUS! and the FRIES!! The Joey and Italian are excellent!! Don’t listen to the negative 1 star reviews (like (Randy down below) it’s a lie because I don’t know how you could put a bad negative review at this place!

We were first timers and their food and sandwiches were outstanding! We all had the Italian subs and they were fresh and delicious at the same time! Definitely better than Jimmy Johns and Subway if you’re looking for a nice sub! Plus, you can’t go wrong with their daily specials that’s included with fries and a drink for $11.99! The fries you get are hand cut and hot of the oil! On top of that, Quintila waived 2 cents off of my bill since I had a gift card of $40! That’s some excellent service! Overall, I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back soon!

Today was my first time visiting this deli meeting friends for lunch. The tuna salad sandwich I ordered was too bland; it could have used some celery perhaps or a bit of green onions. My to go order,on the other hand, was excellent! The Italian beef sandwich was plentiful and with the sweet peppers, one of the best my husband had. The Italian sausage sandwich was very tasty and again seasoned just right and plentiful. I'll definitely will be back to try additional menu items.

This place is a hidden gem . Right off of lake street and 53. I’ve been coming here since I was 10 years old with my dad. Haven't been in quite some time so I decided to try it again. Well the experience was great. The owner is extremely gracious and polite , the lady preparing my food got everything correct and made sure that I had everything needed for my order . And then when I left 10 minutes later they call me to tell me that my card had somehow been double charged and that I was more than welcome to come back and get the cash or a gift card or put it on the debit card, he left the decision completely up to me. No only did I appreciate the honesty , but I also appreciated the transparency and ability to give excellent customer service . I have to say I’m impressed, and the food is just wonderful. I got the meat lasagna special with a side salad and piece of sausage …it truly is a wonderful meal. Great place great food great people. Give it a try !

I've been here a few times over the last couple of months and now that I know about Mario's I'll certainly be coming back. For lunch I've been getting the Italian sub sandwich. It's packed full of meat and the 11 inch is truly a huge sandwich. Well certainly not the least expensive place in the suburbs, a sandwich drink and chips are almost 17 bucks, but if you're looking for a good sandwich it's worth it.
