Review Bigby's Pour House - Addison

The staff here were so cool. We brought a couple bottles the other night to trade with friends and we ended up opening a few. The staff gave us extra glasses for pours and had no problems with us taking up some extra space. We had the spicy pizza, very tasty. Overall great experience, would highly recommend.

Kind of a small bar with food. I brought my family but the kids were kind of out of place. They did have some board games for the kids. They had a decent selection but it would've been better if they had more on tap. The food was decent. We had a pretzel and a couple of pizzas.

Love love love this place. Great selection. Owner-operated. Great service. Simply awesome. All beer is reasonably priced, except the Miller Lite: that costs $1,000. I don't think they're going for the macro brew crowd!

Really great constantly rotating selection of beer. Staff is friendly and accommodating, great selection of board games to play, and a respectable food menu to nibble off of. One thing I don't really care for is the addition of the Golden tee game... Bright screen is irritating and it takes away from the atmosphere. Say hi to the fishies! They like company.

Great beer, great wine, great staff, great vibe. When the chef is in, theres some very good, unique pub food, flatbread pizza in particular. Go earlier in the evening and chat it up with the bartenders. They really know their beer.

Love this place! I always have a great time hanging out here with my friends. Bigby's has nice ambiance and comfortable seating. Great staff working here. Tons of beer options and the food is pretty good, too. They even had a jalapeno beer that was pretty awesome. They don't have a big food menu, but I enjoy the flat breads ($9) and pizzas (about $12). The 2 soft pretzels ($7) with 2 dipping sauces is a solid choice, too. Good drinking food.

I have been going here since the owner was saving his tips for the next keg. This place is so cool and the craft beer selection is excellent. The bar staff is very friendly and attentive. The food menu is limited to not much more than unique snacks, but they are prepared very well. Early in the evening the Italian deli in front is still open, great food there.

This is a great little place. My husband and I love to stop in before heading to the movies. They have a wonderful selection of craft beer and the staff is very friendly. They had some hot apps that are perfect for a quick snack. There is a goat cheese thing that is delicious. You should really stop in if you are a fan of good beer.

I love this place. Great little craft beer bar, always an interesting mix of local, regional and imported beer. Served in the correct glass by a friendly bartender. No TVs, just some good music in the background. Nice ambiance for some fun and conversation. Small plates are quite tasty and reasonably priced.

Excellent draft beer options. Food is so-so, so just avoid that. Bartenders know their stuff and are happy to provide a sample if you’re unsure of a new beer. Relaxed post-work crowd full of suburban dads. All in all, a great place to relax with a draft after a long day.

Great place friendly atmosphere. Food is good. They only serve craft beer so if liquor or common beer is your only liking you won't enjoy the bar but if trying new beers and being in a comfortable environment is your thing I highly recommend bigby's

Love this place. Great local craft beers on draft and knowledgeable staff. Live music and trivia nights too. My only contention is the price of the food. The apps don't give you very much for what you're paying. Would love too see the portion size increase or the price decrease. Otherwise Bigbys is a great local gem.

Stepped out for a little unwind, within walking distance and found this place. It's a nice bar/ restaurant.. Unfortunately for me isn't my first choice, because I prefer mixed drinks and they mainly serve beer. They have an array of beers from local breweries and the staff was very patient with me. If you are a condasore of beer, I'd definitely suggest this place.

this place is tucked away at the end of the block so you can miss it if your not paying attention. Nice place lots of 80's,90's decorations like Marios bros, Pac-man, Simpson's, and plenty of table games. they also have a small patio but the best part of this place hands down is the beer. Lots of great city brewery selections. owner is a great guy humble and food is also really good.

Really cool place with a great vibe. Smaller but not crowded, easy to get a drink. They have a good selection of board games and easy drinking tables with chairs to sit down and actually play them. Good volume level for conversation and gaming since it isn't overrun with people. They have "beer floats" (beer ice cream inside your beer) but unfortunately when we went they were out of ice cream. Deffinitely going back soon to try. Beer prices $6-$8 or so range for most. Rotating menu however so not sure if that price range changes much or not.

Great selection of beer. Staffs and even the customers are very friendly here. If you are a beer person, this is the place you must check. The only thing that I hope is the selection of appetizers. If it were a bit more choices than now, it would be great.

Mike's a jerk. He knows too much about beer. Every time I ask for food, I get it. It's way too chill of an atmosphere and I spend way too much money here on account of the impressive customer service and diverse selection of beer. 10/10 bar would recommend to make fun of Mike's face

Don't talk to any staff and you'll enjoy this place.. The Good:<br/>-Excellent craft beer selection<br/>-Good sense of community with other patrons<br/>-Local Business<br/>-Board Games<br/>The Bad:<br/>-The food is extremely lacking . I wanted some "Bigbys" branded touch, craft beer is not Incorporated in any reduction sauces, marinates , or glazes. In the outside world there are economic IPA's that could be used for such things<br/>-If you do not get there early people camp spots, and don't seem to move even if their check is paid and beer is dry<br/><br/>The Ugly<br/>-Let me start off and say I'm an not easily offended or scared off by bartenders "having a bad day" having put myself through college pouring beer myself. However I've been to this establishment 2 times, and it sucked. The first time I invite my pops, and older brother out hearing there was a new craft beer bar. Our attention span was obviously only on catching up with each other rather than engaging with the bartender who was no where to be found. The second time I came here on a first date looking for the Not Your Fathers Root Beer , apparently the keg had been cycled out a couple days ago and the Beermenus.com was not updated, but it was posted on instagram or twitter or whatever the chromebaggers use now. No big deal right? The bartender however proceeds to tell their are better beers to order then the root beer, but didn't offer an alternative. Now the girl I went with was not a big craft beer drinker, and hated the elitism associated with it. Well low and behold the ghost of Ryan Dunn proceeded to tell me more about his snowboarding accident in which he broke his hand than the craft beer bottle/draft list. Cool story bro<br/>-Ambiance is the same as my basement only i have better SNES games.<br/><br/>avoid.

The beer-voting concept along with their large selection of beer from some of my favorite breweries like Lagunitas, Founders and Three Floyds are what make Bigby’s stand out from many of the bars out there. It’s certainly one of the best spots to drink in the suburbs and worth checking out. If I lived in the neighborhood it would definitely be my go to place for delicious beer and a laid back atmosphere.
