Applebee's

Dinner was great as was our waitress but we came in to celebrate my buddies 21st birthday and I asked the waitress if we could get a couple old fashioneds... Whoever made the old fashions must not have ever had one because they tasted super strong of cinnamon. I wish I wouldn't have asked for them because I ended up paying 14 bucks for both of our drinks and they weren't that good.

This location leaves a lot to be desired. Our server was not at all attentive. After taking our order it was over 10 minutes before returning to our table to check on us and my wife had been waiting to place a drink order the entire time. Some food came out hot while some might have been room temperature at best. We didn't say anything for fear if we sent it to the kitchen it may be forgotten and never come back to the table. We ordered one of the Tito's carafe options and it came with a lot of ice. Very watered down and almost no flavor. Impossible to tell if there was any alcohol in it at all. This should not be served this way. Overall a big disappointment this evening. Will not be back.

The one positive: I like the food. But the last time we were in it was FREEZING cold and when I politely asked the waitress if it could be changed she said it's uncomfortable to us too but "he" (assuming the manager) gets upset if we ask to change it because the other side of the restaurant stays warmer and he will crank it up to 85 to prove a point and make it unbearable. Our waitress was great though. Sweet little gal.

My family and I had the best dinner tonight at The Applebees - Ada. I had the Bourbon chicken and shrimp skillet... it was to die for. It was piping hot and tasted amazing with the grilled onions and the mushrooms. OMG!!! And our server, Kirsten, was awesome. Cute as a button, and extremely efficient! We will definitely be back!

Communication between hostess and servers is nonexistent when it comes to high top and bar area, but I'll say this that place was crawling and they had everyone level headed and it seemed like they were working very well as a staff in general. I saw other servers coming to aide and even a manager came to help with server duties. That was a pleasant change of pace to see. Thoroughly impressed with kitchen to server communication especially getting food out ina timely manner and with no mistakes, to my knowledge, and bbbooooiiii that Bartender needs a damn raise. Applebees for the win in my opinion.
