Tried Jojo's for the first time and the food was amazing as i heard, nice environment and very friendly staff, Only issue was the parking lot, past winter was rough with it getting hot and cold, causing cracks in the roads. And the parking lot really needs to be repaved. careful if you have a low car. Either way its about food and service and its a 5 star for me. Would recommend to anyone in the area!
We go there at least once a week and one of the posters said that the owner was rude. That's a bunch of crap. John is a really nice guy. He might be a bit on the quiet side but NEVER rude. We really enjoy the breakfast, and like someone else said, the endless cup of coffee. They used to have an open mic night and one time I was out of town, we had a very bad electrical storm and our house lost electricity. So where did the wife go?? She went to the place where she would be welcome and safe, and with a lot of locals that would gather there, that's right, JoJo's Oceanville Inn. Great place, great food, great people, the help and regulars.
Drove by and didn't notice the place. Went to Shea's which had a half hour wait. Decided to go somewhere else. Found Jo Jo's on Google. Looks like a dive, but figured we'd try it out. Glad we did! Waitress was very nice and courteous. Food was excellent!!! I ordered the Italian omelette and wife ordered large stack of Chocolate Chip pancakes. Very good portions and delicious. Definitely be back.
We love Jo-Jo's. We are from LI and seriously lack a place like this for breakfast and lunch. Always stop at least once when in the area.
