Black Cat Bar & Grill

Really enjoyed the Black Cat Bar & Grill. Wife enjoyed the French Onion soup and we shared the mozzarella sticks. Followed with a Chicken Cat sandwich and BLT, both were excellent. What I most enjoyed was the exceptional service from the woman tending bar. Though we were sitting at a side table, and it was busy, she was like a well oiled machine, working hard, always pleasant and stayed on top of keeping our drink cups filled and it seems everyone at the bar as well! Unfortunately we didn't try this place until the last day of vacation, would have frequented it more had I known how good it was. FYI, the menu is far more extensive than what I could locate online. Highly recommend!

Our second time eating here. We were here on a Saturday night six o'clock. Greeted at the door by a waiter saying that they were short staffed and the wait might be a little longer than usual. We decided to stay since we had eaten there once before and were happy with our meal. We were pleasantly surprised that the wait was not all that long. Just the initial bringing the menu over. After that drinks came over quickly, meal came out 15 to 20 minutes after ordering. We were there just over an hour. Very happy with the experience.

I've passed Black Cat a hundred times. We finally stopped in for a bite to eat. I was pleasantly surprised. I've had the wrong impression from the outside. They have a very large menu. We had the special cheesesteak and large plain pie. Both were delicious. I will definitely be back to more things.

In Southern New Jersey, we have some of the best pizza in the world and so many pizza joints to chose from. However...... the Cat's pizza is off the charts fantastic. We had the "special". Mushrooms and sausage. The crust is ultra thin in a very good way. Not stiff and card-boardy, but chewy, flavorful, and holds the sauce/cheese/toppings perfectly. I can't recommend enough. I'm almost afraid to try any other menu items cuz the pizza is THAT good. (Although, I hear all of their food is very good). I am so fortunate I live about a mile away now. This is going to be dangerous.
