Ihop

Never again the waitress did not care and does not understand the word NO yes thought that meant yes she was also rude. We got our drinks by another person working while our server stayed in the back. Another waitress brought us refills our empty appetizer sat on the table for 10 to 15 min people who had been waiting for a table up and left we then waited a while for our food it was horrible

Visiting, but I’m sure it’s always busy like any IHOP-we got in just in time. Server was slow, ran out of coffee, missing items on plate-he just dropped off and didn’t even ask if everything was good. Took quite a while to get a glass of water, and no flavored creamer or jars of syrup (but that could be because of protocol right now). However, coffee was good, as was the food (once we got it all).

We sat for an hour, hardly dealt with our waitress, and when we asked for our food to go, because it took so long, the food was cold, and it wasn't correct. I get it, it was late breakfast early lunch, but if our waitress was paying attention to the orders, our order would've been correct, hot, and to us in a timely manner. Our food had been sitting on the line ready for at least twenty minutes when I asked for our food to go.

Our waitress was really rude and forgetful. Our food took forever to get, and was warm at best once it came to the table. She was also upset about splitting the bill between the 2, even without asking how the bill should state. It's really sad, my family and I have been there many times and loved it.

I had breakfast at this location today. Despite the light customer presence, it took 45 minutes to receive my quick two egg breakfast. The toast was burned black and inedible, the over easy eggs were cooked firmly, and the bacon was partially burned and partially raw. The waitress was clearly embarrassed and explained there was only one cook, and the manager was just in the kitchen. Observations: the one so called cook is not a cook and the so-called manager did nothing. I am a native of Abilene and have enjoyed eating at this I-Hop hundreds of times. I will not do so again, and I warn everyone else to avoid this place until real management restores the high quality of the past or closes the doors.
