This is the only Red Lobster in Abilene and it was such a wonderful experience. My son took me here for Mother's Day and I could not have had a better experience or food. I had the Seafood platter with lobster and two types of shrimp along with Caesar salad and broccoli. It was so delicious!!! The waitress and service was impeccable. One person in our party had several food allergies so we ask for the manager. The manager was so thorough and took the issue very seriously and talked with the chef. We had a wonderful lunch and experience. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in Abilene. Highly recommend!!!

It’s sad how far this Red Lobster has fallen. We visited Red Lobster for dinner and were let down right off the bat. We waited for a long time to be greeted at the front. We finally were seated. Our server was pretty much absent most of our meal. We ordered water and tea nothing complicated and it took a bit to receive our drinks. Much later the cheddar biscuits came along. There would be no refills on those tonight. We ordered a NY Strip with Brussels Sprouts and Coconut Shrimp, clams, and Bacon Wrapped Scallops with Mac and Cheese and my sister had mashed potatoes. Now the wait here was so long we were all mad and ready to leave at this point. The meals except for the steak were bland. We asked for cocktail sauce and never received any. The servers were too busy playing and complaining which just add the final straw on our backs. We will never be back.

So Today we decided to go to red 🦞 lobster ànd try a few entrees and let me just say' first the customer service was excellent 💯 and what made it even better was the timely speedyness of our food order and the fabulous taste on it.

Hostess seated my husband and myself in the very back room and did not inform anyone. We sat there for about 15 minutes and weren't even greeted by anyone. We finally were greeted and she came back a few minutes later, by then we just got up and left.
Update: The manger made it right for us. We were given a gift card and used it last night.
We did not see anyone that was on shift the night of the bad experience, so no one knew of the other experience, so they were not trying to just make up for it. We received excellent service from everyone. Our waitress Kiley was just the best she was very attentive and friendly. We had a great experience! Thank you for making us want to come back!

I’ve written one other bad review in my life. I went in with my family of 7on 3/13/22 Our waitress was super sweet very attentive. I am super picky when it comes to steak so I asked her ahead of time -“I don’t want any pink in my steak, (don’t judge) I won’t eat it! Should I just get the pizza?” She assured me she would put in a special request. After sending it back 3 times. I said “ I’m just gonna eat a baked potato and salad” she said “I’ll check and see if I can get the steak taken off your bill🧐 I said “well that’s good cause I’m not paying for it cause I couldn’t eat it”.
Then the manager comes over and says “I’ve gone ahead and taken that steak off your bill”. Like she was doing me a big favor.

What's most important to me is always service but in this case the food was just as awesome as the service. Thank you for being timely professional and providing a fantastic meal. My first visit to Abilene will not be my last. See you guys on the next trip . God bless and keep up the great work guys.

Short wait but worth it!
We went on Tuesday night and it was quite busy. Steven the manager at the time was very gracious and checked on us more than once to make sure we were happy. We were seated after about a 1/2 hour and got our menus but immediately went for the bacon wrapped scallops - yummmmm. Kaitlyn was a fantastic waitress and was enjoyable as a person. Our dinner did take a few but was excellent. The lobster and steak were both great and the cheddar bay biscuits are amazing. We ordered a mango based drink that was waaay too easy to drink lol! Trystan was our runner - she ended up running for our extra biscuits and being a friendly lady. All around good people and quite a good meal.

Regardless of what friends, said I went here for my anniversary and had the lobster tail for the first time. Me and my wife ended up with food poisoning not 6 hours after eating there! I'm not originally from Abilene (the coast) and have never had a bad seafood experience at Red Lobsters but this was the worse! I had lost time from work and just puked my life out after that Maine lobster tail. Un-Real
