Shucks!

Was recommended by my husband co-worker. It's not bad it not 4 stars neither. Food was a bit under seasoned for being deep in Cajun country and a bit overpriced . The oyster we're large and clean . The topping on these also was under seasoned. It took a little long for food to come but the waitress was so nice. Disappointed that they close at 10pm. Time we received food it felt like we needed to rush to eat and didn't really have time to try other food before closing. Might return not anytime soon. Yet overall rating based on this 1st time visiting this place is a 3.5 out of 5 5 being the Greatest. Still on the search for that Old School Deep South 🧂 seasoning style that make you want to travel miles to eat ☺️😄. Another meal another experience 🍽️

Rocking!! It’s a Wednesday night and it’s rocking in here. We had the oyster sampler, the shrimp and veggie bowl, and the shrimp and grits appetizer. And the bread pudding… oh the bread pudding….All delicious. Our server, Marcie, was fabulous. They were all scurrying around taking care of everyone. The owner was talking to people at tables, greeting people waiting for tables and working behind the bar! Very impressed and all delicious. Highly recommend Shucks when you’re in town!!!
