This restaurant always seems to be open. Holidays, weekdays, weekends, Armageddon - Great Wall will make sure you get hot food made by hand in-house. Heck, the open counter area leads to a perfect view of the kitchen where you will see them making your meal.
We have been going here for about 8 years now on about a once a month basis, and I think they may have gotten our order incorrect a total of three times. Those in-corrections were minor as well (for example, steamed pot stickers instead of fried, beef with snowpeas instead of chicken with snowpeas).
Very punctual as well. Even though they do not have delivery, when they say "Ready in 10 minutes" they mean READY IN 10 MINUTES.

Just moved into the area. Looking for a good Chinese take out restaurant. We found it. Great Wall has great food! Like other's have mentioned you don't go to dine there. Place isn't great for decor. Owner's don't speak much English so communication isn't the best. They are always pleasant when I call and stop in. Nice they give you free soda with your order. Pork dishes are tasty. Moo Shu Pork with plum sauce is delicious. Orange chicken is great. Fried rice is also great. I need to try other things on the menu. And the menu is quite long. I was going to Ming Toy off Lewis in Waukegan before. This place is much better. And they take credit cards which is nice in a pinch.

I love their fried rice. They are very friendly and the place always looks clean. Call your order ahead and it will be piping hot and waiting for you. Mmm cashew chicken.

Delicious food and fast service for a very reasonable price especially like the combination plates. They come with more food then you can eat and are only around 7 dollars. Includes entree and rice and oversized pork egg rolls.
