Review Manolo's Italian Restaurant - Zephyrhills

Definitely the best Italian food I have ever had in the Zephyrhills area. The service was just as amazing as the food. For the price you pay there should not be an upcharge to get a caesar salad and I've never been charged for bread at an Italian restaurant other than that great visit.

3 of us had veal and chicken parm. Specially requested it not be overcooked (I’ve tried this place many times-tendency to overcook) and it was like trying to cut rubber- 3 out of 4 dishes. It was Early, 4:45, we all had appetizers and we were only ones there so the kitchen sure wasn’t busy. We love the restaurant, atmosphere and room but if the cook can’t prepare a simple dish... the veal actually was burnt on the ends. Should never have been served. Waiter should have caught it ( Doug Never came to ask how meals were). If we weren’t there with friends from away these meals would have gone back. I was told the head cook wasn’t there till 6 ( so the ribeye special couldn’t be prepared). Ok, we order easy Parmesan. Don’t open until you have a real cook in the kitchen. We support the local restaurant but that was the worst meal yet. Doug was ok. Dessert and the Piano player were awesome. Hope you can correct the “cook”. Saturday at 4:45, 1st orders in.

Myself and my wife have been here multiple times. The food and atmosphere is always amazing. The prices are very fair based on the portions received. They also have a fairly expansive menu meaning everyone in your party can get something they will like, With a full bar.

Great Authentic Italian Cuisine ! The owner came out while we were seated at the bar and engaged in conversation with us. Really nice guy and cares about his patrons. Food is of great quality. We will be back and will be recommending to our friends.

The food was good. The service is hit or miss.....sometimes the server was good other times you had to ask for things like bread and butter for the table. It was also warm in the restaurant. What was really nice is that they had a woman playing the piano. I'd try it again just to give it another chance

Had personal pizza it was great! One thing that this Italian restaurant doesn't provide, bread! You have to order it and pay for it. Speaking of paying for it., It was my Dad's birthday dinner so I told the waiter and by the way nice guy and did a great job, so I asked him to bring something out for my Dad's birthday desert and yes you guessed also had to pay for. Guess it's the sign of the times. Overall happy with food and service but not happy with restaurant charging for things that most other restaurants don't.... By the way 7 people in our party so it's not like the bill wasn't substantial.

We went to Manila’s tonight (Friday) with a party of eight. Arrived about 6:45 pm. Not busy, about 10 small tables filled. Took the waitress 30 minutes to deliver our drinks; then we waited over another hour for 4 out of eight of us to get our food. Four of us were close to finished when the other four were served. The last meal (Veal Parmesan) was delivered & obviously over-cooked. Waitress avoided the obvious and made excuses that 2 cooks didn’t show up for work. (Wished we had known that earlier! We were hungry; wanted a nice dinner with friends. We would have left). When we left it after 9 o’clock! So, service was very slow; waitress, not apologetic; and other than the pizza, not good food. BTW, not even a basket of bread/rolls while we wait & wait! Learned later, we had to order bread!! At these prices; In an Italian Restaurant, why not bread/dipping oil? Guess what! We won’t be back. (Exception: maybe pizza take-out. It was good and that’s why we (my wife & I) gave it the two star).

Awesome Place to Eat!. Very nice atmosphere! Fast service, Fantastic Authentic Italian Food. Large portions. Reasonably priced. Def will be returning!

Great new bar area!. We love heading over to the new bar they just opened. It is beautiful and has many tvs and a great sound system.

Great food and meeting place!. Have been going there for three years. Client recommended it and I take them there for business meetings. Also take our quarterly meetings there and plan on holding our annual banquet there in October. Celebrated our anniversary there and my husband loves it too. I travel from Mulberry to Zephyrhills just for their great food.

Reasonably priced, large portions and a nice atmosphere. I loved the pizza :-)

Excellent Restaurant Experience. Have become a regular over the last couple of years. Good food, especially the saltimbocca. Will honor special requests if they have the correct ingredients. Wait staff can be a little slow on occasion but it is usually because of newness - always well-trained. The mixed drinks are a little expensive but the menu is very reasonable. In-house pianist on weekends. Very enjoyable.

Don't go there if you have a Groupon! Having been there before and receiving poor service, gave them the benefit of the doubt and given the value of Groupon decided to give them another shot. The service was, once again, dismal...waited almost 10 minutes before someone came to get our drink order, had to ask for bread (twice), and the portions from the Pre-fixed Groupon menu were ridiculously small. My husband ordered the manicotti and was served ONE small one. The dessert was equally small with a cannoli no bigger than your finger. Definitely not worth the price, nor the frustration with the poor service.

Musty smell upon entry. Took over an hour to get our food. Food was ok. I had a hair in my calzone, but did not complain. My calzone was HUGE. Kids shared a personal pizza (including split entree fee). Server was inexperienced (inattentive, apologized several times for food wait, insisted upon clearing the table at the end of the meal and ended up splattering sauce on my husband). We will not go back. Significantly overpriced.

We have been going to Manolos for years..love the food..especially escargot..crowded at times and have to wait for a table..they also have a comedy club on advertised nights..love the egg plant dishes..at times they need to hire more staff as it gets busy in the winter months..they do have an all inclusive early bird meal so ask about that..I think it ends at 5 pm..not sure though..great coffee..we keep going back..

Took my wife here for our anniversary. Food was fantastic. Service was great!.

Awesome place. I can't believe it's been here for 12 years and we never tried it. Great ambiance. Everything we ordered was excellent. Try the escargot.

Great atmosphere, delicious calamari, good chicken Parmagiana, my son loved the meatballs and my daughter loved the pizza. Only thing I was disappointed in was the bread. It was ok and when I eat Italian I like a nice crusty bread. Definately go back.

Excellent.... Manolo's is a nice quaint little place in downtown Zeph. The calamari was perfectly cooked--hard to come by in small-town Fl. The lasagna was excellent. My friend had the farfalle with spinach and it was great too.

Kevin from 301 Corner Grille. Very tasty Italian dishes and authentic Pizza. A love the Antipasto salad with their housemade dressing. Been there several times and never disappointed.
