The best and only best in Zephyrhills!. My boyfriend and I enjoy the food and staff very much! They have so many selections of sushi and entrees. The staff always greet you and are very nice. Love this place!
Excellent. I have dined in several sushi establishments in the tampa and wesley chapel areas, and i believe this place rates as highest in value. My wife and i tried a variety of rolls,soups, and noodle entrees that were all excellent. I believe we have finally found the best!
Who knew.... Who would've have known, that one of the best places I've ever had sushi-sashimi was in a small town in rural Florida? I've been around the World - ate sushi in all sorts of places...and, here, in my home town, I found a fantastic sushi restuarant by pure chance.

SITREP: prices & quanity were great (I ordered the 16-piece sashimi platter that ended up being 20 for $18); service was pleasent; & decor- envoyounce was quaint (of course, some of the low tone techno music can be a little off key for someone not familiar with Europe or Asia).
If you're off in the East Pasco County area of Florida & having a sudden hankering for sushi, you have to come to this place - you will be surprised.
I recommend this place!! We visit often, great prices extreme selection. That can be overwhelming ,but I recommend sticking to basics "for Shushi "! In our experience me and my wife, it's never a disappoint ! We only order from the somewhat vast but easy enough navigational menu Shushi . I highly recommend some items that are not traditionally on a " typical" Shushi menu! The fried octopus balls with nori is very traditional . And the not so sushi bomb is the bat I've had ! All in all this place has authentic sushi and with the fresh fish creations how can you ask for more?!! Also you can bring your own wine in and drink it for a romantic night out without the extravagant wine corking charge!!! I give this place a very high A+++ !!
Absolutely AWESOME Food & Atmosphere!. We were waiting a LONG time for a restaurant of this calibre to open in Zephyrhills! We didn't think that it could get any better but over the past few weeks they have made some wonderful improvements to the decor. The food is incredible (and we try sushi everywhere we travel). We used to go to Tampa every weekend to get it but now that Best Thai & Sushi has opened we don't go anywhere else. It is closer to fine dining, so it has an elegant but relaxed atmosphere to have a nice leisurely meal where you won't be rushed!! Please go! You will be so pleased!!!
ZHills needed this place..... Very good, Very fresh, Good service.....and the food.....The best thai I have had in Florida..!!!! and I try a lot of them....I hope they stay...
Went there last night for the first time. Sushi was delicious and the servings were HUGE! Had spring rolls, soup, and ordered 3 rolls including the lobster bomb, which was very popular--lots of patrons ordered it. Usually with 3 rolls we know we will bring some home but ended up bringing 1/2 our food home so be warned about the large servings! We have already polished off our leftovers! 2 negatives--they only served plum wine. Need a selection of wines as they have for beer. Service was pretty slow. They were hussling but needed another waiter. But they were very nice. We just had to be patient. And it was worth it!
Good food, great find in this location. My mom and I had lunch there today. We had Thai food. There were a lot of people there enjoying sushi with big smiles on their faces.
Great salad, delicious jasmine tea. Our red curry and panang curry was way too spicy for us. Next time we will ask for mild. I normally get medium but I can tell this is a place that I will have to get mild for the right amount of heat. Spring rolls were ok, a little spicy as well. I normally like spicy foods but it was just a little to much. It over powered the flavour. The waiter was attentive and helpful. I will take my husband back for the sushi.
A diamond in the Rough. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but on the inside, this place rivals Bonsai in Wesley Chapel and Ichiban in Tampa. The service is great. The Thai food is great, but the sushi is even better. With rolls like the Sumo and the The JJ, you can't go wrong. Definitely try it. You won't be disappointed! The best part of it all, the sushi is half the price of Bonsai and the rolls are twice as big!

Most Excellent Sushi Surprise!. What a great find! Husband and I have been hoping a sushi restaurant would land close to Zephyrhills. Must admit I was very skeptical, We had eaten at this establishment when it was a Thai restaurant (was good but nothing special). NEVERTHELESS, the place has been completely renovated and has a whole new set of owners. The menu is really extensive, Lots of Thai options and a huge sushi menu. Our meal started with a complimentary creamy crab, avocado, cucumber salad. Delicious. We love our sushi, so we dove in. Husband ordered 2 pieces of Ika (squid) sushi, and by doing so we knew we would discover quickly if this place was the real deal. Happy to report, it was fresh and very good. Went on to order the Tuna Lover Roll, Sashimi Style Roll, and Lobster Bomb Roll. Danny, the sushi chef was very friendly, and his product is beautiful. One might not expect fancy presentation from this kind of place, I certainly didn't, but again was so pleasantly surprised. The portions are extremely generous, and that was a good thing, because I noticed that the prices, upon perusing the menu, were a little high. In the end... completely worth it. My lobster roll was huge with the biggest chunks of lobster I've ever had, and on top of that there were 5 big lobster tempura pieces nestled in a lobster tail outside the roll. I had to take half of it home. We plan on visiting at least once a week. I hope they make it. Good news is that while we were there, there were at least 3 tables who were repeat customers.
Only con, and it was very minor, wait staff lagged a little. They'll work it out though, I am sure.
Great Thai and Sushi!. Before I found this place I would drive to Ploy Thai down at cross creek when I had the urge for thai but not anymore. The service is great from both the waitress and the sushi chef. The restaurant itself is very clean and welcoming even though they are not finished decorating yet. I believe they may have changed management. The Massaman Curry is amazing and the sushi is very good, try the specialty rolls! Great for vegan and vegetarian diets and the tofu is cheaper than anywhere else I have been.
Great find in Zhills. Like the review above stated: Don't be fooled by the appearance. I'm not going to lie, I was very hesitant to try this place out at first.
Living in Zhills and coming down in the last few months from NY. It is hard to find anything remotely ethnic restaurant or good. This place is right in the back yard. It is clean, quite, and the a/c was perfect. 180 degrees from what i was expecting. Staff was very good, my soda was not even half gone and another was waiting. Food was hot and fresh, it had flavor like the places back home. Fyi made sure you ask for at least hot, great flav just not spicy enuff. I no longer need to look for another thai place. i am dieing to try the lunch buffet and it is only $6.
Best thai is just that!. As stated, best kept secret in Z'hills! Great food, exceptional service,the cook is fantastic! Mr 2 minute- make the front prettier to attract more people! The food is worth every penny! WE go often, love whatever we get, and the amount is ample, prices are VERY good.
Don't be fooled by the appearance. I'm not going to lie, I was very hesitant to try this place out at first. But thank you Urbanspoon for leading me here! Living in Wesley Chapel, it's so hard to find a really good ethnic restaurant. Not until you drive all the way to Tampa... but the search is over for the closest, awesome Thai food! The food is amazing and the prices are only $8 on almost all their entrees. They also have a lunch buffet from 12-2 for $6. It would be great to see more people come in to help their small business!
Zephyrhills' best kept secret! Not the area of town you'd expect to find delicious Thai food, but there it is. It's the most inexpensive I've found with most entrees averaging about $8 each. The menu is varied so there's something for most everyone. There's even a Monday through Saturday lunch buffet for only $5.99 per person. I'm extremely pleased with this find and will hopefully return many times over!
All in all, the service was fine, the food was edible, and the prices were fairly cheap. The next time I get stuck in this city, I would definitely come back, but only because there really aren't many vegan options within a 20-mile radius. As for the name, it definitely isn't the best Thai I've ever had. Perhaps it is just the best Thai and sushi in Zephyrhills.
Very small cozy place, went midday for lunch and they have their windows tinted it's a nice soft ambient light during the day. Very nice staff and the food was made very quick and was very delicious. I would recommend for someone if they're looking for Thai and sushi to try this place out. Not too expensive, if you review my photos my sushi was $6 a row.
Some rolls we got were boring but mostly everything was fresh and tasted good. For the sushi was a very long wait because they get super busy with take out orders which was very frustrating. They have gluten free soy sauce.
I was VERY pleased with the Crispy Duck w/ Panang Curry sauce. Thank you so much - it really was the best Thai duck I’ve had in the area 🦆 🍽
While I do miss the original owner and the mini-store they used to have attached to it, this place still puts out amazing sushi and Thai food. It can be a bit pricey, but it is totally worth it. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
