I bring my elderly dad there at least once a week. Service and the food are equally terrific. All the staff make my dad feel very welcome. Yes there is a wait but that is because the food is the best around. Seriously the wait is def worth it. And there is an electricity in the air of people eating, drinking and being merry. Not many places like this

This place has great food! What I like is they're putting a little money into the place to modernize it. I usually get the Ron Grande Burrito, it's to die for!

First time there with my family who most had been coming for years. OMGOSH ! The food is WONDERFUL! The carnitas is out of his world! Huge chunks of meat marinated in this juice, that is to die for. Portion was humongous, took home half. I tasted my brothers chilie verde and it was so bomb, that I asked for a container of just the sauce. I mixed the sauce with the pork, and had my own Chile verde for dinner. WOW!

We were first-time visitors on Thursday, 11-10-16. Casa Trejo was recommended to us by the local motorcycle shop and, boy were we happy we took their suggestion. The food at this family-owned business is fabulous! I believe this restaurant is going to be our go-to Mexican place from now on!!!

We travel an hour each way just to eat here! Truly the best MX we've found in the IE. The chili Rellano's are the best I've ever had, chips are always fresh, salsa....spectacular.

Had the Chili Verde Buritto and it was soo delicious, then desert came, chocolate caramel almond Chimi Changa topped with Ice cream whip cream and more caramel and chocolate drizzle, oh my! I'm definitely going back and referring my traveling buddies who pass through there.

Excellent food, especially enjoyed the salsa. The service was fast and friendly. One suggestion, do no allow yourself to be seated next to the kitchen door or against that wall. It was like a freeway of people, won't happen again with me.

If you like your authentic mexican food extremely hot and spicy, this is the place for you. From the salsa to the chili Verde it is way beyond hot. Always!!
If you don't like it hot and spicy this one is not for you.
The food is really good just way too spicy for me although my family loves it.

Casa Trejo has been a fixture in Southern Yucaipa for decades. A few years ago, daughter Linda Trejo bought the place from her parents and added her moniker to the name. It is located in a shopping center on County Line Road, a block north of 5th Street. There are two rooms of tables inside with very limited patio dining. The menu has all the standard Mexican fare and a separate, full bar is available. I am here almost every Wednesday because, bucking the "Taco Tuesday" trend, Casa Trejo features $2 tacos on Wednesday's. I always place the same order -- the waitresses even know my order by heart: One each shredded beef, shredded chicken, & ground beef taco's ($6), a full order of rice ($6), and a large Dr. Pepper ($4). Please note that the taco's are prepared in the traditional way: Meat and tortilla deep fried, pinned, then garnished with twin cheese and shredded lettuce. Chips and salsa are served at no extra charge. A word about the salsa: It is extremely hot. In fact, I cannot tolerate two "dips" in a row -- eating two plain chips in between each one with salsa, in order to let my mouth recover. BTW, they do not offer a mild version. The waitresses are extremely friendly and hard-working here, so be sure to tip generously. Linda's Casa Trejo Mexican Food is Highly Recommended.

Little bit of a wait, but well worth it great service food is amazing. Reasonable pricing great atmosphere can’t ask for much else in a restaurant highly recommended.
