They have the best food ever their meatball subs are the greatest ever and the female chef there is so great and nice and friendly and the cook ever thank you so much for the great foods 😊

Drinks are cold, the sub sandwiches are DELICIOUS!!! it's definitely the west sides dive bar... you walk in and will always know somebody. Treat you family... whether you're the black sheep or the a$$ kisser. You get treated accordingly. Not bad lol

I gave Periscoop 5 stars a couple of years ago, and still do. My family has been a customer since the 80's and even though I now live near Cleveland, I make it a point to stop and get a sub when I am back in Youngstown. It is by no means a fancy place but the food and service is amazing.

Great subs at a reasonable price. Never had a problem till today. Bartender was rude and completely ignored us. We've never had bad service there before. Instead of ordering wings as we intended, left after half a drink.

Great subs, reasonable prices. The place is more of a dingy dive bar than a sub shop tho. A little lighting during lunch hours wouldn't hurt.

First time there in about 40 yrs. I was very disappointed in the sandwiches and the place was a total "dive". Oh well.
