Joe's Restaurant

Was in with group of people. Apparently our party had 2 waitresses, but never saw them working together to get drink orders, or dinner orders. Dinner orders were taken very late in evening. Customers were famished. My own dinner was served cold. Center of meatball not cooked. Kept this to myself because afraid it would take too long to get food back. Ravioli was hard around edges. Will probably go back in hopes it improves.

Rude manager yelling in front of everyone at us because their credit card machine had been down and they failed to tell us this. I was very embarrassed because bank was closed, I didn't bring any money and the card I had I don't have a pin to withdraw money from. She yells out:what do you me to do about it? I can't help our machine is down. You are going to have to figure out something. I told her I understand that but if I was told earlier your machine was down I would have gone somewhere else. I asked her why she was yelling and she screamed out louder: because you're yelling at me. The lady who waited on us apologized for forgetting to tell us and said the manager is the owner's girlfriend and is always nasty to people. How sad. It was my birthday dinner and I rarely get out and it just ruined my evening.

We went there on a Friday to use a valley deals coupon and apparently didn't read the fine print as the coupons are only good mon-thurs. We ate there anyway. I had cavatelli. The sauce was thin and the meat balls were mushy. We've ate there before, but this time was different. We will return to use the coupon but not likely after that.

went during Brier Hilll festival, so restaurant was limited to sandwiches, pizza, & salad. Had dozen lightly breaded bbq wings. Kids shared cheese pizza. Great service and excellent food. Looking to go back to enjoy the rest of the menu. Ate in the bar area. A few booths and a few bar tables around the bar.
