The best thai for miles and miles! I've been eating here for years, and from the appetizers to the entrees to the curries, I've never had something I didn't love. I couldn't find a place even in Boston that compares. Owned by a lovely family, too. Simply fantastic!!

No. Dont come here till they have more people working again. We ordered last week. There is only ONE lady working inside and she was very rude to my mother. The food was okay. Maybe when they have more staff to help ill eat there again. The two stars is because one dish out of all of them was okay and I did like it. It was a vegetarian soup type of deal and the white rice was cooked okay. All the other dishes [fried, shrimps, noodles, etc] did not taste good. The rest was eaten because we were very hungry.

Great friendly people! They have one of the best chicken pad Thai, ever! Their Thai ice tea is also absolutely phenomenal. I usually get their Thai ice coffee which is also a favorite of mine to help me get through the rest of the day. Travelers who love pad Thai shouldn’t miss out! It’s not too far away from highway, and I believe it’s so worth it to pay them a visit. I’ve been to so many different Thai restaurants, even as far as Washington state, but the pad Thai dishes from Thai Erawan’s is truly my favorite and a high number 1 on my list!

One of the best Thai places I've been to. The waitress was excellent and the food was amazing.

I have been eating here for years. Used to be 5 star but quality and consistency of food has dropped from excellent to just okay. They are no longer the best Thai in the area. Tonight I ordered takeout -- Vegetable Delight (mixed vegetables) with chicken. This used to be one of my favorite dishes. My mixed vegetables tonight was onions and bean sprouts. There were a few carrots but no other mixed vegetables. This dish used to have bell peppers, cabbage, baby corn, and broccoli. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Not a good sign.

Had their Pad Thai and fried rice. While their spice level was great, what they both lacked in greens they made up for in grease. Would recommend they add more vegetables and cut back on the oil.

Excellent service and food, my family loves the garlic pepper chicken. Delicious! We eat here at least once a week and we have never been disappointed. We prefer take out.

Best Thai in Yorktown. There are several Thai restaurants in the Yorktown area and this is by far the best one. The food is always amazing and I love the way the tofu is cooked.

Horrible customer service. There is a old fat thai lady that manages the cash register.Welcoming people to the establishment is not on her list - she believes they are doing you a favor by letting you eat there.Overheard old fat thai lady gossiping with a friend on how they juiced up the good reviews.....If u are white and moderately OK looking this is the place for you.

New look and feel. This place has really good drunken noodles. I only got two stars, i.e., medium spiciness, but it was a bit of a tongue burner. It also had a subtle sweet taste. This was the first time I'd been to Thai Erawan since they moved to their new location in the new strip mall which is pretty much a stone's throw from their old place. The new dining area is brighter and feels more open. They are a little pricier than some of the other Thai restaurants around. I'm not sure the higher prices are warranted, but the food is pretty good. Try it out unless you'd rather have the couple of extra bucks, bones, or clams, or whatever you call them.

Inconsistent Food/HORRIBLE Service. The food is inconsistent. We usually order the Pad Thai. Sometimes it comes good, but not great. Other times, the flavoring is off, and no lime wedges. Not worth $15 a plate for inconsistent food. Customer service is HORRIBLE.

I give them a 0/10 for customer service. The workers are always very unfriendly. We dropped $70 on take out one day and one of the dishes was inedible. My friend tried to eat it, because we paid $15 for it, but only got 1/3 way through before he wanted to throw it away. I called the restaurant and politely asked if we could have it remade/order something different at no cost/receive a refund. The middle aged lady I spoke with, the one typically taking the phone orders and standing at the front desk, was so unbelievably rude. She refused to believe that it didn't taste good, was insulted and said to bring the food back and they will see what's wrong with it. I drove back and brought the inedible food. She looked at it and said, "You ate part of it! Why did you eat it if it no taste good? This real Thai food. It is good food!" In between our in-restaurant conversation (they had no customers), all the workers were standing around glaring at me. I respectfully said, "I'm sorry, I think your food tastes good, but my friend said he can't eat this, he doesn't think it's good." She berated me for 5 minutes, very angrily maintaining that there is nothing wrong with it, and accusing me of trying to cheat her and the restaurant. She finally agreed to give me a different dish, after shaking her finger in my face and saying she will NEVER EVER re-do a dish for me at no cost again. Meanwhile, the coworkers spoke to each other in another language while gesturing angrily at me. I got the new food, 20 minutes later, who knows how much spit was in it.

Went back a couple times after that for take out, staff is still very haughty and rude. Won't be returning. Food isn't worth the price or dealing with the staff.

Pretty good. Not the best Thai in town, but overall good. Their dressing noodles is one of their best dishes. No other Thai restaurant even makes this dish. The unique flavors combined with Thai spice sets it apart from other noodle dishes. The main complaint that I have about the restaurant is that the prices are a bit higher and the quantity of food in some (not all) of the dishes is usually less.

Great Thai Food. I have always enjoyed getting take out from Thai Erawan! Their dishes are seasoned just right and the spiciness is made-to-order! Try the egg rolls and you'll love them too.

Good Thai in York County. Thai Erawan is located on the end of a strip mall off 134. There is not much parking on the end, so you most likely will have to park in front of Food Lion or around back in a dirt lot.

I went around 12:30PM with a group of about 15 people so they seated us in the "party room". The service was pretty good and the food didn't take long for the group. I tried their Kaprow (Basil with Hot Chili Pepper) it was listed as coming with bell peppers, green beans, onions, and basil leaves, with the meat of your choice and white rice. Not sure what was up but there were not any green beans in my dish? I asked for Thai Hot or their (3 stars) but wasn't really impressed as it was rather mild, but nothing the chili tray couldn't fix. Their fried spring rolls were pretty good, but fresh out of the fryer they were like eating the sun to the un-expecting patron.

Overall the food tasted well and the service was good and the prices were fair. The only downside was the slowness we experienced trying to check out since they didn't bring any bills to the table.

Wonderful Food. We are regulars at the Suffolk location and by regulars I mean at least once a week. The food is great and the service is too. Beautiful decor and the food presentation to match. For apps we love the Kanom Jeeb and the spring rolls, as well as the wanton soup (not like the Chinese soup) For the noodle dishes we like the Pad See Eaw and the Pad Thai. My husband is a huge Thai curry fan and he loves the green, red and yellow curry dishes with the red chicken curry being his favorite. The Kow Pad Kapow fried rice is WONDERFUL. A great addition to the growing restaurants in Suffolk!

This place is amazing! We have been going here for at least 5 years and it is our favorite Thai restaurant in this area. The owner is also very friendly and she will walk around to check on you if she is there. So give it a try you Won't be disappointed

If you've never had thai food, I could see how you would like the place... I heard nothing but great things about the place and after the first five bad experiences I decides to try it once more... Thoughts haven't changed. Absolutely horrible. I'd rather spend my money at the mall getting panda express.

Love the Pad Thai. Try the wonton soup--it is really something else!
