Old school baking. Fresh quality ingredients. I had a delicious homemade real Boston cream filled donut and a large almond horn that was moist and flaky. A gem!

This is an excellent bakery. Everything I've had there has been great. I wasn't particularly fond of eclairs until a friend had me try theirs - wow! What a difference. Their shadow cake is great if you like really sweet, napoleons, chocolate cakes to die for, oh my...
I arrived late in the day, they close at 5 and I arrived at 4:15 so what i wanted was sold out, but i got a cherry danish and it was amazing. Nice and soft with plenty of cherry and other toppings. As an FYI I don't think they accept credit cards.
Amazing Napoleon sheet cakes, we order for special occasions, also love their melt aways, amazing almond horns, eclairs and cream puffs with real custard and everything else they make. You can't go wrong.

The baker is gifted and everything is delicious here. The Meltaways are so fresh and sweet! Their Napolian Cake is the best! Breads and Rolls are unreal. But the perfection are the creullers, crumbuns and the donuts. Cheese danish to die for! Go...but go
The best traditional bakery in the area. Great hard and soft rolls, breads, and pastries. Terrific German specialties like apple strudel and 'black and white' cookies. Whenever I travel upstate to visit family, the relatives insist I bring pastries from the Yorktown Pastry Shop.
This is a top notch bakery with many excellent products.
All this is possible because of the baker Steve.
If he does not have an apprentice baker we are soon in for
the demise of one of the last of the old school bakeries.
I'm crying at the possibility.
This is my favorite bakery (and I lived in NYC for seven years). The desserts are traditional and memorable. I can't imagine life without it.
WE have lived in Yorktown for 50 years and you can't beat this bakery. Everything is delicious. I don't know what we would do without it.
