Place was packed on a Sunday and waiting was only <20 min. Our first time and absolutely awesome Establishment. OuR server was TOP notch and super attentive even being busy. 30% tip which is not my usual but she was super great! Our breakfast was delicious their hollandaise sauce is amazing but the poached egg was slightly over done. My husband loved all his breakfast and his dippy eggs were Absolutely Perfect👍 next time we travel across the river for breakfast this will be our spot.

My son told the server that he would like a Godzilla pancake. I legitimately never thought a Godzilla pancake would show up at our table. Major props to Stony Brook restaurant and it's amazing service!!!

This is a gem of a restaurant in York, PA. It is clean and comfortable. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. The menu has something for everyone. Prices are reasonable. Unlike most diners you can order a beer or wine to accompany your tasty meal. The restaurant has plenty of off street parking. While visiting York, I ate at Stonybrook Family Restaurant two night in a row. Both experiences were amazing!

Stopped at this diner for lunch while I was visiting York for work. I had the most AMAZING cup of French Onion Soup!! Yum! 😋 The burger was great, too! Our server was very friendly and had great service.

Really good meal at a very fair price. Our waiter was excellent and food was hot and really good. I got the chicken stir fry and couldn't eat it all which is unusual. My partner got the crabcake sandwich and loved it. Place was very clean. Will be back for sure.

The Ribs, Steak, Crab Cakes, and soup are incredible. Mr. Sastre is an incredible cook and he has always made our meals deliciously delightful. I can honestly say the taste and flavors of our meals has put steak houses to shame. I always prefer to spend my hard earned money at Stonybrook for I've always felt the food was well worth it.

We always love eating at Stony Brook Family Restaurant. The crab cakes are the best. They are always accommodating when we go with a large number of people. It's my favorite place to eat. Even on a tight budget! Their menu has a lot of choices.

My husband and I have been eating here for 3 years. Anytime of the day has been great. We've had breakfast lunch and dinner. Always had a great experience. Food is exceptional, staff is A-1 . Would and have recommended this place to several people. Also have brought our grandchildren here. Their children's menu is great.

I had blueberry pancakes, a stack of 2. They were Awesome but I could only eat 1 of them they were as big as the plate they were served on . Need a Sr. menu like the kids have. We eat hear at least twice a month. Keep up the Great food . Sausage gravy is to die for.....

I was there on Sunday morning and the waitress that we had was not very friendly and the food was good the waitress got upset because eight she didn't bring the right stuff and I asked her to bring me the right stuff so she had a slight attitude

I wanted to give them 4 stars but I deducted for a waitress being a bit curt. This happened on numerous occasions. Other times I've had excellent waitresses. Food and cleanliness is very good.
