Arrived early(before opening), were greeted cordially and allowed to sit! Service great, food good, and a small, but very nice draft beer selection.
Great food. Recommend it to anyone who love sea food. The steamers and baked scallops were excellent. Highly recommend it.
This past weekend I stopped in with my husband and our friends as we were vacationing up in York. We decided to try this place out. I had never been to a piano bar. I don't know where to begin.. Let me start with our server his name was Peter and he was amazing. He got everything right and his personality made our stop there so enjoyable. He was a delight!! You better keep him for our next trip up. The food and music were good.. Thank you Peter for keeping us laughing and our drinks full.. You rock enjoy Florida and hopefully we see you on our next visit!!!

I can't believe I have never been before, this restaurant was amazing. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, there's outside seating, indoor games, a piano bar and the food is absolutely delicious. You will not be disappointed.
The atmosphere is really nice. Piano player great. Our food was really good. I wish there was a few more items on the menu, like steak or steak tips. Also would like to see a couple more flatbread choices. The waitress was great also. It has only been open for 5 days, and the owner and manager both asked us how things were. It takes a few weeks to figure everything out. We will definitely go back.
Had the best time at the piano bar. Sang all night. The "Piano Man" never took a break. I will be back!!
Chicken ranch pizza was delicious! We got a very tasty rum drink in a bucket. Sat in the bar area and the bartender was awesome. So glad we decided to go there.
Today was my first time at the Sand Dollar Bar and Grille and it was fantastic. The food was so yummy, I had seafood quesidillas, and my Mom had a grilled cheeseburger with steak fries (and homemade ketchup :). Our waitress Emily was awesome, the guitarist, David Gerard was rockin and the ocean view was absolutely gorgeous. There was a wedding set up too, and it was so beautiful to see, I'm sure it was a wonderful event. York Beach is my summer home and it's a peaceful place, even when it can get a little crazy during tourist season. We will back for sure. Thank you for the great food and happy vibes. �
I started at the union bluff but had very bad time came here and it was a complete turn around it put me in a good mood and the food was out of this world I would recommend it to everyone I know
What a fun place and great location! After an amazing day on short sands beach this was the perfect place to end the day! Great food! Loved the lobster Cobb salad! And the drinks were a nice way to cool off (should have ordered the bucket though)! Can’t wait for the next visit.
Best food we had on our whole vacation. We ordered the nachos for an app which were good. Then the two kids split a margherita pizza which they ate the whole thing and said they loved it. Wife and I split the lobster Cobb salad and the salmon with rice. Both were incredibly fresh and delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. We are definitely coming back next year. The waitress was very nice and helped us picked stuff out on the menu. The vibe was nice with good music playing and sitting outside was pleasant.
My wife and I hosted our wedding welcome party at the Sand Dollar and had an exceptional experience. Colby and his crew accommodated a group of 40+ of us during their regular dinner service. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. Family and friends still talk about memories that they made at the sand dollar and request that we return there for drinks when they are in town. Would highly recommend hosting your event here.
Went here on a busy Monday night during the evening rush. With a large party of 11 people, we had struggled to find a suitable venue and menu. After a phone call, the hostess held a table for us next to the piano player (live music!). When we arrived, the music was a touch loud and I asked the hostess (Kylie) if there was anything available outside on the deck. She was more than accommodating and checked on moving a table or two (and was able to for us in less than a 5-minute wait time).
Our server, Liv, also did a great job in working with our group. The food was surprisingly good (better than expected) and the drinks were properly crafted. The kids menu was limited and the overall menu was not extensive. That being said, what they had on the menu was prepared well.
Truly a case of the staff making a good experience great. Thanks for a great evening meal!
The food is great! Get the lobster mac and cheese!! Are server was very good and got things quickly and checked on us often BUT no changing table in either bathroom?? There was a countertop that worked but it’s right under the paper towel dispenser so it was all wet and gross.
Read a complaint from a customer that recently wrote a review. The response from the owner had me in stitches lol! A good sense of humor makes everything taste better! Now I have to try the seafood chowder here!
Good location. Food good. Can't believe I paid almost $40 for a small lobster roll and fries. Other menu items not as pricey. Hostess could have been more welcoming. Waitress was fine.
Sand Dollar is excellent! The menu is crowd-pleasing, even for picky eaters, and the food quality is top-notch. Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back next time we are in town.
We had a lovely lunch with 10 friends. We sat outside overlooking the water. The service was good, as was all of our dishes. The census on the clam chowder was good, but not what was expected as they are renowned for this chowder.
We came for the piano bar and were very pleasantly surprised (especially after a less than great experience at the Front Porch.) Great piano player and a really happy crowd. We will be back!
Good little restaurant in a great location with outdoor seating. I got the lobster cob sale with the house dressing (a herby Caesar) which was delicious, better than expected. The salad came with around 4 oz of lobster, which was plenty given how hearty a cob sale is. My husband got the ahi tuna sandwich, which he liked. Our waitress was friendly and efficient, prices were reasonable. Would recommend!
By far the most unique place to go to in York. Very conveniently located right downtown with a great view of all the shops especially at night. I have been here a number of times now and is our favorite spot to go to for an adults only night out. The piano bar and outdoor deck are something no other location in York has. Very nice looking place on the inside too with Pool Table, shuffleboard etc.. The food has also never been an issue and they make a surprisingly good brick oven pizza. I would definetly recommend giving them a try!

We are on the outdoor upstairs covered deck. Beautiful night and nice waitstaff. Not a cheap menu, but hey, it's a tourist town in beach side New England. To be expected!
