Best Breakfast in York Beach!
What a great spot at York Beach. David and I like to walk here on weekends when I don’t feel like making breakfast. The food is good and in-line with diner food. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for a beach establishment. The owner is genuinely concerned about his customers and staff which is refreshing. I love the fact that his kitchen crew and some wait staff are all Haitian and he obviously trying to help them have better lives not take advantage of them like so many unscrupulous business owners. When in Short Sands check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.
Old school restaurant in York Beach. Service was fast, and the food was better than expected. I wouldn't suggest the Avacado Toast but, DO NOT pass on the grilled muffin. Having never heard of such a thing, we order the grilled apple pie muffin and WHAT!!
Stopped here on a whim and am glad we did. We both had the lobster bene and it was tasty. The eggs were cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and attentive. And we got to sing Happy Birthday to the chef.
Definitely would return.
Ate here twice. Great both times. Definitely try a grilled muffin. The four of us ate many different breakfast options, and all were delicious! Loved my omelet stuffed with veggies!

Well, a couple of days after my great review, I see from my Bank statement that Molly-O's charged me twice (once for my meal $34.70 and again $77.21 for another table's meal). I called and reported it and she told me to go through my bank to correct it because it would take time through her "processor". I waited a couple of days for her "processor"and reported it to my Bank and my Bank credit me back the money. She called several days later asking me if I saw the money go through from her processor. My Bank credit my account the day I put the complaint in. I just don't appreciate Molly-O's not crediting my account once they were aware of the mistake. Not everyone has an extra $80.00 sitting in their account to cover errors and what if I didn't discover the error.
Just check your Bank account when you eat at Molly-O's or pay Cash. We are not judging food quality but service because I remembered I had to ask the waitress for the return of my Credit card, she was just standing around talking to someone and we finally requested it back. I guess that was a Red Flag.
biscuits and gravy were really good. grilled blueberry was great. eggs benedict was excellent.
service was not good -- waitress was not particularly friendly and did the bare minimum. i couldn't even get a refill on my water

Good breakfast food. Went here twice during my stay. Would have given 5 stars but on my first visit the waitress charged my food bill on another guest's credit card. Luckily I caught this instead of that poor customer paying for a double bill. The waitress should be more careful as this is unacceptable. Second visit was uneventful.
Great cafe with delicious food! We had never had a grilled muffin before but I would go just for that. It was fantastic. Our group ordered a variety of options from the menu and all of it was great!
Cute little spot, feels very homey. Very simple and delicious menu. Great spot for a morning breakfast. Curb side take out window looks like a great option for dining on the go.
Just looking for a quick meal for a hungry kiddo that only eats chicken fingers. Came across this little diner. Just perfect. Outside table to people watch. Food was freshly cut and fried. (Chips and Fries). Staff was ever so friendly and helpful. A go to place
5 stars for Kristen who was trying to help the one waitress who was overwhelmed! Isn’t that what a co-worker should do? The waitress was rude to her in front of customers! One star for the waitress who was definitely not a team player! Overall breakfast was good!

A great spot for some breakfast!
Situated in the central hub of Cape Neddick, Molly-O’s makes for an ideal start to the morning. I recommend- weather permitting, sitting outside and enjoying your breakfast as the morning risers of the area start their day (although make sure to check in first at the front desk! A party may be waiting inside for an outdoor table.)
The service was moderately quick- not lightning fast but not long enough to where I questioned anything. My server was super nice, and brought everything just the way it was ordered.
I got the two eggs breakfast (with toast, homefries, and sausage patties) and everything surpassed my expectations- the homefries were particularly exceptional.
The only reason it is not a 5-star for me is the price, some menu items feel slightly lacking for what you are paying for (a $7~ bagel sandwich with no sides being a standout), but nothing was horribly overpriced, just a little more than what I’d expect.
Overall, if you’re in the area during the AM hours, give this place a try, it is surprisingly good!
Very busy, clean restaurant with friendly staff. Most notable was the Lobster Benedict. I had the same breakfast the day before at a place down the road. Today's was, by far, the better one. Lobster on each half of the English muffin so you got some in every bite. Egg was poached perfectly, and just the right amount of hollandaise. Also $4 cheaper!
Everything was delicious! The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was flavorful and crisp, the home fries were amazing, and the rye bread and English muffins were yummy! Our waitress was also very friendly and attentive.
