If you are ever in the area, you absolutely should not pass up eating at Fox's Lobster House. I was lucky to catch the last weekend they would be open before winterizing the building.

Great food with great service at great prices. This restaurant has two levels with great views. There is also an outdoor patio and a walk-up window to order takeout.
The restaurant is located near the lighthouse and is open seasonally.
Anna was a great server! Clam chowder, lobster bisque, steamers, lazy lobster & 1.5 lb. Whole lobster were all wonderful.
Blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream was also so good! Great seasonal blueberry drinks and York beer from the bar. Beautiful direct view of the famous Nubble lighthouse with free
Overall, Food is avg/good. Service was good despite them being short-staffed. The view is very nice. The blueberry pie is very good as was chowder and onion rings. Touristy at times due to the lighthouse traffic.
Lobster bisque and scallops were excellent. Lobster roll average. Overall, it is certainly worth the stop when combined with proximity and views of the lighthouse.
It was quiet where we sat which was something I enjoyed, we drove up from Massachusetts as we were on vacation and it was one of the few places on the map that popped up for a suggested place to eat. I'm glad we stopped and ate here. There's two floors to the building and we decided to to upstairs.
Absolutely delicious food with a view you can't beat. You have outdoor and indoor options for seating. The service was kind and tentative without being over bearing. We will definitely go back. First and foremost, great place all around. Fantastic view from upstairs, all of the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Lobster stew is FULL of lobster. I honestly expected a diner type of mediocre steak with the twin filets but I was pleasantly surprised and very wrong. Excell
We went at the end of the season, so there were a few things not available. The food that we did get wad very good! The waitress was absolutely wonderful and pleasant! I'm glad we got to try them before closing up for the season.
Great food, I only interacted with the person at the window. He was okay. Not short responses just busy. Took the order, no questions. The area is amazing though and I always come here for my lobster roll every year.
