Situated in the historic Yorba Linda train depot, we stopped in for an afternoon treat. Polly's is well known for it pie, but offers a great menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
While we ordered the coconut creme and banana creme pies for ourselves, at the advice of our server, we tried the boysenberry pie Ala mode warmed up and WOW! We enjoyed that together and it was a race to the last bite. My wife, being an only child, is not good at sharing, more on that in another review, but each bite was better than the last.
So the boysenberry is excellent, the coconut creme pie is subtle, finishing with a smooth coconut taste and the banana creme is as expected with all of the pies having a soft, flaky, buttery crust that had you eating g the edges because it was just that good. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must do.
Great experience! I ordered the chicken pie dinner on the Value Meal and thoroughly enjoyed it! I did not, sadly, think to take a picture of the dinner lol but for dessert I ordered the chocolate cream pie slice(picture included). The whipped cream on their pies is amazing! Definitely homemade! And the pudding filling was just like chocolate pudding. But very sweet! The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. This is the cutest Polly's Pies location I've visited thus far! They really put a lot of thought into the details and decor. Overall, would 💯💯💯 recommend!
Our server was excellent, the food was delicious and we were back on our way home in no time flat. In addition to my ABC Omelette I absolutely love their cinnamon rolls. There is no place better for breakfast after a long morning of hanging Christmas lights, going or coming back from vacation, or just because.
A little slice of Yorba Linda comfort food. Came for breakfast. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the food and comforting atmosphere. Our visit truly felt like eating breakfast at home. Service was really friendly and came often to check what we needed. Coffee tasted fresh. Huge portions of food, especially the cinnamon roll.
Our waiter was great! I definitely reccomend the breakfast and biscuits. The lunch/dinner portions are small, however breakfast has large portions.
Outstanding customer service, all staff members treated us well and provided more. The excellent service food was okay. My meat loaf was just a bit too salty, but overall, it will be coming back way better than their location in Santa Ana

This is strictly a pie only review 😂. I’ve been getting pies from here for years and am always impressed with the quality and taste. In my opinion they serve the best pies in Yorba Linda. Some of my go to’s are the apple crisp, peach pie, and the olallieberry pie. If you’re looking for a dessert for you’re next get together, definitely check them out!
The garlic turkey sandwich was tasty and worth having again. With a piece of Lemon meringue pie to top it off lunch was pleasant.
I had a great time, the waiter was very attentive and understood I am with an old friend, and we needed time to catch up. The atmosphere can be improved by adding some soft music, updated decorations/ pictures etc.
Great visit to Pollys pies on Imperial and Yorba Linda.
I ordered the best chicken fried steak in many years.
Service was just as great. Jen is an awesome waitress who almost anstiepated our needs. We were able to enjoy visiting with family without feeling we should leave.
Thanks, Jen. You made our day.
I live in Perris, but I will be back.
You are an asset to Polly's Pies.
We'll be back.
I only ordered pick up from here that is why I can't give much of a review of the atmosphere. What I can say was the order was correct (I'm sure you know how many times a place can mess up an easy order) and it was ready when it said it would be. Ordered an omelet, but it was great. Good egg to filling ratio. Nicely done Polly!
Good service and decent food. Maybe the pie is better, but I didn’t get any this time. We went for breakfast, which was about $10 a plate without drinks. Each basic breakfast combination gets a baked good, and you should be aware that the cinnamon rolls are huge. We had to take most of it home with us. If I came back again it would be for lunch or dinner.
Food is almost always very good here. There are just certain things I order and they work for me. Quiche, fish and chips, turkey burger, burger, patty melt! Of course, the pies! Always delicious. My favorite is the 2 crust boysenberry and the fresh peach.
They have a nice range of pies. They offer fresh baked cookies as well! Pie prices are only 4.99 per slice. I had lemon meringue which was pretty good, my husband had banana cream which I think was a little better! Plenty of parking and two entrances at this. Service was not really the greatest. We dined in for dessert and then bought some peanut butter chocolate chip cookies to take home. That was the best decision ever! Yummy x 10, soft and chewy. $7.99 for a box of 6
Growing up in Southern California, we used to go to Pollys Pies regularly. I didn't even know they were still around. Went with my parents and friends. Definitely comfort food orientated. Good portions and good quality. The pies were really good. Crust flaky/tasty. I would definitely take my parents there again. Service on point. Restaurant clean and homey feeling.
One of the few places my wife and I dine. So many restaurants have cheapened their food to cut costs, but Polly’s is still making some great meals.
