Have been going to the River's Edge for years & it never disappoints! From their drinks to their awesome food, there's no thinking about anywhere else to go! ~separate room for dinner ~nice size room to have an occasion ~ or sit down at the bar & have a drink ~friendly welcoming atmosphere ~they're like family to us. Go & enjoy!
Speed of service seems to vary. First time we went in around 7PM on Tuesday night, left the venue past 9pm and there was only one table staff. Next time on Saturday evening and the service was fast and efficient; there were at least 3 waiting staff running about. Both times people were very friendly. The restaurant owner stopped by our table to chat; He was all smiles, cheery and polite. We went home with full belly and warm heart.
I really enjoy going to the River's Edge because it's not only a place you can go "where everybody knows your name 😉" but the staff are just top notch. From the bartenders to the awesome wait staff, your going to have a great experience. The food quality also matches the quality inn their service. There's not one thing I can recommend because everything here is great. Bring friends and family because it's always a good time.
We love the food here. Everything from the bread, appetizers and main course are delicious. Our waiter, Brian, is amazing! The owner also stopped by to say hi. Today was our 2nd visit and both experience were awesome. Will definitely come back!
Came here with a groupon and it was nice and relaxing and our waiter was very nice. It was a laid back atmosphere with good music. We had the hot antipasto for 2 and it was good, the stuffed clans were a bit salt. For the main entree I had the double stuffed chicken parm and it was a huge portion and delicious. Will be back and will also recommend.
Great food and great atmosphere. We were greated by the owner and he got us into a seat right away. The place is actually a lot bigger than it appears when you first walk in. My fiance and i had the antipasta for two app which was amazing and way bigger than i thought it would be. We had the veal chop which was also huge and were able to split that between the two of us. I would definitely recommend this place
The best place for a meal and or cocktails. They do the best to take care of you and couldn't be nicer. Love the owner Dominick and the chef too!! Since I am in Az now, I miss it terribly but will be sure to visit when I am back in town.
Really great local Woodlawn Italian tavern. The food is excellent. Order the double stuffed chicken parm. It literally is the best chicken parm I've had in the tri-state area and I am a pretty picky Italian boy. The bar staff and waitresses are all local good people. I've been coming here for 8 years and will continue to dine here about once every other month.
This place is the real deal for neighborhood Italian. Cozy, warm, great service, geeat food. Want something and don't see it on the menu? They'll make it. This why I come here whenever I'm in the Bronx.
Went to brunch here, great service, very good drinks, and great food. Good mimosas deals on weekends for brunch. Would go back again and tell friends and families
The food is great. Staff is great. They also have a large room for private affairs. Good prices. They also offer live entertainment.
Always stop to see Dom and his staff when I'm in town. My aunt is a frequent dinner. Love this place! Sorry I missed you this trip Dom!

The bartenders are great, and the servers are well trained. The food is great. All you want in pub/restaurant.
The staff here was attentive yet didnt feel rushed our meal came as ordered and it was delicious. Will definitely try again
