I always have a wonderful meal at Zuppa that is partnered with an excellent selection of wine that never disappoint. In addition, the bartenders there make fabulous cocktails and it is where i can get my favorite cosmopolitan.
I can't say anything negative about Zuppas. It was my first time there and I attended a family party during the day. We had the entire room. Appetizers, Main Dishes, everything was good... including the martini I ordered from the bar. Entire staff, from the owner to the servers were all very nice and gave excellent service.
The entire experience from being seated to having dessert was amazing. The food was so fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Look forward to returning.
Zuppa is a very nice, cozy, neat and clean place. We definitely enjoyed our time here. The service was quick and we had a very nice waiter. We had mussels, pizza, gnocchi and some desserts. The food was just ok. I would not say that it was the best Italian food I had which is why I think the food deserves 4 star while service and atmosphere is 5 star. In terms of price range, it is relatively less expensive than a Manhattan restaurant.
They have a separate event space that holds 50+ guests. I had my nieces baby shower back in 2020 and a company Holiday Party this December 2023.
The food is delicious. They also set up a massive cheese board and beautiful cocktail hours appetizer.
This is definitely the place for any intimate, small but chic dinner party. The drinks are a plus
Incredible and highly recommend restaurant
Amazing staff, beautiful place, fancy, nice frames all over, nice wine, food was so good, prices are fair compared to the quality, nice place, not too loud, just the ac was too much and I was freezing
Attracted by the HVRW (Hudson Valley Restaurant Week) visited Zuppa to try their menu for this occasion. The tasty food was impressive. Thank you!
I had such a wonderful experience at Zuppa Restaurant. Service is excellent the servers were very attentive and on top of everything. I had a private event with about 60 guest and it was perfect. Edi the owner is fantastic he works with you and makes the experience stress free. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely come back to this restaurant for dinner and also recommend to anyone who is looking to have a private event or looking for a good restaurant to have dinner.
As soon as you walk into Zuppa, you're hit with the intoxicating aroma of freshly made soup. It's a small, unassuming spot with a minimalist decor, but the focus here is on the food - and let me tell you, it does not disappoint.
The menu is simple but thoughtful, featuring a rotating selection of soups, sandwiches, and salads. But it's the soups that are the real stars of the show here. Each one is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care and attention that goes into each pot.
The tomato bisque is a particular standout, with a rich, velvety texture and just the right balance of acidity and sweetness. The chicken noodle soup is equally impressive, with tender chunks of chicken, perfectly cooked noodles, and a savory broth that's incredibly satisfying.
But don't sleep on the sandwiches and salads either - they're just as tasty and carefully crafted as the soups. The roast beef sandwich is a personal favorite, piled high with thinly sliced beef, caramelized onions, and horseradish cream.
Overall, Zuppa is the kind of place that makes you feel warm and cozy, like you're being taken care of by a skilled chef who truly cares about the food they're making. It's not flashy or trendy, but it doesn't need to be - the quality of the food speaks for itself. So if you're looking for a comforting, delicious meal in the heart of New York City, Zuppa is definitely worth a visit.
An amazing experience! The service staff was exceptional, the food was out of this world and the atmosphere was perfect! Treat yourself for a wonderful experience! A great date-night idea!
The ambiance is very nice in here. The service is impeccable every waiter was very attentive to all there customers I really appreciated that the most.
My family and I ordered 2 Bistecca dishes that came with mashed potatoes (which tasted like boxed mashed potatoes) and Broccoli Raab, 1 rack of lamb which came with sweet potato (which also tasted boxed) those are my only two key take away from this. The mashed potatoes and sweet potato tasted boxed.
We also ordered the Expresso Crème Brûlée which the sugar on top was soft .. I was very disappointed but overall it tasted really good. If you order any appetizer the calamari and octopus was amazing.
The drinks were great as well.
So overall I would come here again I’ll just stick to an Italian dish instead.
