Not a fancy building or decor, but EXCELLENT food and great price. The buffet tables aren't always well stocked, but just ask the owner he'll whip up anything you want real quick... They strive to keep the food that is out there fresh by cooking in small batches so it's not sitting on the buffet table all day. I like too that unlike many Chinese buffets, their food isn't drowned in tons of watery sauce in an effort to keep it cheap and preserve it on the buffet table all day. The food is tasty and hot and fresh, because of the small batches cooked and put out frequently, which is how we like it! This place is a gem!
This place is small and looks a little run down. But don't let that discourage you. They treat every customer with the greatest respect and up most attention! The food is good and they cook really quick. The kitchen is also super clean! Give them a try!
It's a small place that's good to make a plate to go, when it's fresh. Not a huge selection but it's good, when it's fresh. The people who run it are friendly but don't put out large portion during the lunch and dinner rush, so turns into waiting 10-15 minutes to fill your to go container. Food is great just a bit of a hassle to wait
I have been passing through Yokum for years now on our way to and from Sherwood Forest Faire. Every time we walk in we are greeted kindly as we are instantly recognized and treated like family. The food is amazing and something we look forward to every time we make the trek. Any time we ask for something needed on the buffet it is out and fresh quickly. Drinks never go empty. We love the Dragon House!
When you see restaurant from outside, it looks like small and closed. But don't be confused, it is really very nice place and very good customer service. I got the hospitality of highest level. I am really amazed with their service. No doubt, food was also really good.
Persons working here ways friendly and making sure you get what you want and every time I visit knows what I want and have my usual table ready with a friendly welcome. It's awesome swatter busy day when don't want to cook a water home .
Like going to this gentleman’s house...very humble digs that are kept very clean, and he does everything in his power to be a good host! He watches who comes in, quickly prepares his small menu, and keeps everything cleared and moving. No food wasted here.
