The sweet spot is 4:45-5pm. People start lining up at 3:30pm and have to wait til 4:30pm for the doors to open. Well since they are short on staff it was a buffet style dinner. Prime rib was good. I loved the tomato based Gouda red pepper soup. Absolutely delicious! I wanted to hold back a star for the buffet and not table service full menu but it's not their fault no one wants to work anymore.
The only dining at the Old Faithful Inn right now is a mediocre buffet. Very limited options and you have to wait in line as there is only one buffet for the entire, big, restaurant. Would be nice if they would split up the salad area from main dishes. Might feel less like a production line. Foo

Phenomenal service from waitstaff. Disorganized host staff. A single line for the $40 buffet. The first 3 items on the buffet are dessert, dessert and potato chips. The line was over 75 people long snaking past the tables in the main dining room.
