We recently moved here this winter and we can’t say enough about this little local spot! We’ve been biased trying other ma & pa eateries cause we haven’t found one that can compete! Their gravy first off, WINS! Their biscuits n’ gravy and chicken fried steak are by far the best in town! Their portions and excellent and service is always on point! Wonderful spot for the whole family to enjoy. Huge menu of all the things. Cozy, comfortable & so welcoming. We have enjoyed making this our every weekend go to! Don’t forget to try their cinnamon rolls & Eggs Benedict!

I've been to Papa Bairds several times so this certainly wasn't my first trip there. The food tastes very good. But they need to let the items cook. My waffles have always been soft and white. Its like they take them out halfway through cooking. My toast is the same. Soft and anemic looking. It's always like that each time. I'm not going to stop going, but next time I'm going to ask them to toast it longer. And service was super slow this time around. Took a very long time to get our orders taken and then took a really long time to get our order. I like them and will continue going.

So glad we came across this local spot! So many other ma & pa joint that’s are a hit & a miss. Papa’s is consistently amazing! Always greeted with a warm smile you instantly feel right at home. Extremely clean & kept up. They take great care of you & work hard to provide their customers with the best! Favs- Chicken fried steak, Eggs Benedict, their Cinnamon rolls (OMG DROOLING)! Their portions are great you won’t leave hungry! That chef has sure perfected a great steak and eggs. My hubby’s go to- their Top sirloin! When they say the best brunch in town... they ain’t lying!

Happy to give this review! We arrived with a large group- we knew being a Sunday we would wait- but boy was it worth the wait! Exceptional service, Best Eggs Benedict and Chicken n fried steak in town by far. My Strawberry French toast was a specially yummy! Coffees stayed full and hot, food came quick those girls were hustling to keep a packed house happy. Clean atmosphere, cozy. There’s not a lot of Ma and Pop owned shops anymore that make you feel at home ❤️ We will always be back! Thank you!!

Worst experience and if I could give zero stars I would especially since we didn’t even get to eat breakfast. Went there and seated ourselves as the sign says to do and it was not packed so there were tables available and several staff seen us take a seat. We sat at the table waiting for someone to bring us menus or greet us or something and we didn’t even get acknowledged that we walked in the door. After sitting there awhile we watched as other people came in they were given menus immediately before even fully sitting down at their table. After this happened a couple times we were then upset and decided to leave on the way out the door a waitress with a smirk and in a condescending tone told us to have a good day. This was our first time going there and we’ll take the hint we were unwelcome and won’t be back. Guess maybe we didn’t have the look that they prefer walking in the door.

This place is a great hometown feel to it. Everybody has a unique coffee / hot cocoa mug. The staff there is very friendly and accommodating. The food is wonderful. I would not suggest going there if you're on a diet. However they will accommodate you 😁. There is no parking in front of the business you park in the back. There is wheelchair accessibility to the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean and did not smell bad. They had manual soap dispenser and faucet. We did not have to touch the towel dispenser to get towels to dry our hands. The reason for the four stars is that it opens later at 9:00 on Sundays. It does take them a bit longer to get the food out to you but they made sure that we had water and the boys were give hot cocoa quickly. Please take into account this is a mom and pop shop. We did not mind the wait however.
