Review Ding Ho Restaurant - Yakima

Looks like the perfect front for a money laundering business but dont be deceived, they have good food! An old local business that provides enough food and a friendly face. I ordered the General Tsao and the Crispy Beef, both had good sauce and were ready when they said they would be. Though they forgot a fork or chopsticks, a minor inconvenience but it does put one in a pinch if you cant find one. In the past I have had the house salad, I now avoid this menu option, as it was unpleasant. The best way I can describe it is "cold salty vegetables". Worth a trip!

Oh, Ding Ho.....if you've lived in Yakima long, you've driven by here! Honestly, I always assumed the worst about this place. The parking lot always has a few cars in it...and it's been here for a long time, so I finally decided to check it out with my mom for lunch. As we walked in, we were greeted and promptly seated. The parking lot was pretty full and about half of the building was full. We decided to go with the buffet. There was some rice, chow mein, chicken (orange and almond sauce), some sort of pork and veggies, and egg drop soup. The soup and chicken were solid. Chow mein was ok, and we both weren't big fans of the pork. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but I've paid a lot more for worse meals. In my opinion, it's an ok option for lunch due to the good buffet price!

Clean establishment & nice staff. The decor is very pretty and oriental styled. The food was good too!

Great reviews- whoever we made reservations with some of our softball team/parents. The old lady was grumpy and was complaining to the owner as soon as we arrived. If we asked for anything she would get even more aggravated. While leaving she cleaned up one table and said “I cleaned up my part she can clean the rest”. The owner was nice and also helpful. Definitely need to look into new staff. The food was good.

This is a cozy American-Chinese food restaurant with very friendly 5-star service. We had the buffet special which is priced very reasonably- but the choices are quite limited given the very cheap (about 8 bucks) buffet price. The menu selections look to be typical Chinese-American style dishes. Didn't notice any authentic Chinese dishes, nor were we expecting that. The food was fresh and tasted good.

Place was clean. The Egg flower soup was awesome. I wasn't impressed with the taste of the food, but it was fresh. I have had way better. Would I go there again, probably not. Overall the staff was very friendly, service was great.

Definitely Ding Ho and Joy Garden the Asian food hot spots. Best Chinese I've had in years. Fresh and natural flavor not because of seasoning but ingredients. Sauces were flavorful but gentle. Food was hot and totally good. I should have not driven by because nobody seems to be in parking lot. Family owned and nicely set up. Food is well worth it. Make this a lunch or dinner any time you need Chinese food.

Some of the best Chinese food in the valley. Family owned, great prices, fresh cooked food every time. Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Been going there every since the new owners took over. Previous owners gave it a bad name. Looking for a place to eat tonight..go ding the ho.
