We visited the restaurant a week before Yellowstone National Park Closed due to flooding in June 2022. We enjoyed the breakfast so much that we came back (from Jackson Lake Lodge) the next morning for another breakfast. The (ordered, not buffet) dishes were good and Rebecca (from Michigan) served us very well.
An unexpected gem! It was pouring down rain when we arrived to the campground, so we were delighted to find that they had a restaurant on the grounds. Now we would have been happy with just about anything we didn't have to cook in the rain, but the food here was incredible. The elk medallions and trout both blew our last fine dining experience out of the water, and it was way cheaper. The service was friendly and attentive. We had such a good experience that we came back for breakfast, which was also amazing!
Stopped in to eat today after hiking in Grand Tetons around noon.
We were promptly seated and waited on.
I ordered an appetizer- delicious.
I ordered the potato soup- delicious.
For our main meals, I ordered the adult toasted cheese and my husband the Bison burger.
Both very good.
I loved the lemonade as well.
My only criticism is the gift shop was not due to open until 2pm, so we were not able to shop after eating, which I like to do support great places by purchasing something from their shop.
We would eat here again!
We stayed a week in Grant Teton Park. The resort where we were staying had terrible food at both of their restaurants. On the way to Yellowstone one morning, we stopped at Sheffields and had breakfast. Terrific breakfast burritos. The last night we headed back there for our last meal on our vacation. Again, the food did not disappoint. Our waitress Cassie was wonderful and very helpful. I got the Elk Medallions and my husband the Salmon. BOTH were incredible. Best meal we had had in a long while. People need to remember that this place, as with many others, are short staffed. Be patient and kind to the wait staff and kitchen.
We are here 6/27/22 and had the steak, trout, and Alfredo. So good! For a small little lodge, amazing food and great service!
Good place for breakfast with choice of all you can eat buffet offering along with a la carte menu. The former is basically a selection of items from the a la carte menu. Seating was a tad weird as we were consistently given a small table for our party of four (adults) and had to politely ask for a larger table. Friendly and cheerful staff.
