You want damn good tacos? They've got damn good tacos. I think the asada is the best myself.
Hard to find though, it's halfway down the side of a store with a single small door.

I had the huaraches con nopales and was impressed by the quality of the food (nopales were perfectly cooked; beans & rice were flavorful) and generous portion sizes. Will be returning next time I'm in West MI.

I went here for lunch with a friend, and the food was great. The place seems to stay busy, so although it’s pretty bare bones you can tell people know the food is worth it. I ordered four tacos and a bottle of Mundet apple soda. I got al pastor pork and beef tongue (lengua) for my tacos, and it tasted great. There was a side of grilled green onions, and the taco sauces were delicious. I think the tortillas were handmade too, and they were both flavorful and managed to hold up to the generous fillings. I’ll definitely go back again to try their other menu items and also to explore the store next door.

I ordered (delivery) from Garibaldi yesterday and got the sopas. The food was great!! My husband loved the rice as it had flavor. We will be ordering again or popping in to eat there. 😊😊

Garibaldi has some of the best, most authentic Mexican food in Grand Rapids! I’ve been going here for years, and I am never disappointed. My favorites include the quesabirria tacos, menudo, tacos (better quality than Tacos El Cuñado!) —any of their platters are great. Prices are fair. I can’t recommend it enough!
