Monelli's Italian Grill And Sports Bar

We had a delightful experience at Monelli after our Bible study session. Both my wife and I opted for the pizza, and it exceeded our expectations. I savored the margherita pizza while my wife enjoyed the pepperoni and pineapple combination. The pizzas were fresh, with an amazing cheese pull that added to the enjoyment. Highly recommended!

Almost gave a 1 star because I had to put up with them showing State vs Cornhusker football game. But then I realized 3 things: First, I didn’t come to watch football. B.) There were plenty of other games to watch if I did. Lastly, it’s never to early to start stealing signs for next years rival game. Anyways this is a food establishment and people want to know about the food and service. I am here to report back to you that both were good and the facility, including the men’s bathroom (and if the men’s is clean I assume the ladies is in even better shape) is in peak condition.

My new favorite italian resturant! The hostest and servers were all friendly. The atmosephere is warm and inviting. Great selection of different classic italian entrees, pizza, calzones, sandwiches, and salads. There is something for everyone. We had the cheesy breadsticks, which I couldn't get a picture of because we ate them too fast. They were delicious and came with a big side of their fresh marinara sauce. The avacado strawberry spinach salad was divine. The honey vinegrette, blue cheese crumbles and almonds really make this salad shine. Even my husband loved it and he doesn't like salad. We did a build your own pizza with artichokes, chicken, black olives, and spinach. It was so good! I'm not usually a big fan of pizza, but the crust was perfectly cooked, with a good balance of toppings to cheese and sauce. Everything was excellent and so reasonably priced compared to other italian resturants in the area. I can't wait to come back!
